None beyond Deb's thread on HBO series. I assume you're keeping up with that? I think I saw you over there. Apart from HBO, and from its closest competitor Showtime, there have been two TV series of HBO-ish depth on regular TV: Battlestar Galactica, a Science-Fiction series, and Lost, a Fantasy-ish series. Even if you're not normally into Science-Fiction or Fantasy, you might want to give them a chance.


Then let me add that k was the one I got hooked to Galactica and Lost through.

I must confess to knowing next to nothing about Galactica and Lost. I know of them, but little about them.

Best season ever. Bummer it's the last one.

I've missed too many episodes due to changes to TV programming here, & also quite a few other times when I haven't been able to watch, that I've rather lost track of the details of the plot. But I have a hunch that Bill & his 3 wives won't live happily ever after ...

No. Season five is the last, and it's currently running on HBO.

Season Four is the latest to come out on DVD (January 2011 in the US).
