NO!

It can't be done. You can probably lose six pounds in five weeks. Any more then that and it isn't really fat that you can see on your body that you lost it is just water and crap you will gain back.

If you do intense aerobic and weight training you will gain muscle and lose weight at the same time so the scale won't tell you anything.

Two months is the minimum to see any change.

But the biggest thing (and this is real) is that if you work out and exercise you will get a boost in confidence that the female picks up on more then you even know and working out builds more testosterone.

So with more confidence and more testosterone from the five weeks of getting in shape it will do you good for the big night.

But for sure no you won't see nothing in five weeks. Anyone who tells you that is lying. If you starve yourself you will screw up your motabalism lose muscle and gain back fat. And if you weight train to hard you will damage your muscle.

Just start bench pressing and doing squats and curls like a madman and jog. Don't eat less just eat healthy you need the extra calories to gain muscle.

However if you do make points with her that night in a very short time after that you (and her) will begin to see results but only if you start now.

Yes that matters alot. You should start taking some supplements (for sure some amino acids).

You should be sore everyday either your lower body or upper body should be sore at any given time.

Body building is nothing more then damaging muscle tissue and then letting it heal stronger but you don't want to damage it again before it can heal. This is called "over training". You want to switch areas you work out so that one part of your body is always healing while you work on the other.

Do your muscles get sore a day or two after?

Are you increasing weight? That is key.

You need to make your "workout routine".

I am (was) a bodybuilder. I can help you.

Don't think working out will do magic powers on this girl. That could be a mistake to.

wrap a hundred dollar bill around your unit. that'll do it. the imperceptible but undeniable smell of testosterone and cash will subliminally win her heart.... and any other body part as well.

At the moment Im only working my upperbody aite, chestpress, bicip curls, tricip extention and shoulders etc. After my workout im hurting and when I first starting id hurt for days but now overnight i recover and dont feel it much but its still there I guess. Im doing the same weights and reps but at each session ill do abit more, for example on the cheastpress im doing
12 of 40
9 of 47
6 of 54
3 of 61
2 of 68
2 of 75
1 of 82

the extra ive added on is the

2 of 68
2 of 75
1 of 82

this is working for me at the moment, if I increase the reps i cant finish it but im finding im getting abit better each time. I've noticed new muscles and bigger muscles.

Im going every second day to let my muscles recover and am currently taking no supplements and have no idea what amino acids is, sorry :S I know about the protein supplements etc and if you think it will work I will try them

I know that this isnt the magic powers I need but it does give you a confindence boost and also its good for my sports and looks good Very HappyVery Happy.

Just so you know i dont want to be a big bulky massive guy, just well toned, still with big muscles but no huge. Like this guy:

Thanks for your help so far and hope you can give me a few more tips.

Dartboy, it really sounds like you are doing great and not over or under doing it which is really the key. Extra protein is good and needed.Taking extra protein is considered supplement.

Amino acids are protein (basically).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amino_acid

If you work out but do not give your muscles the extra protein (amino acids) to rebuild as working out demands then your recovery and results will not be as good.

The more demand on your muscles the more protein you need. Be carful when you go buy supplements. It has always been very popular to sell young men since my grandfather was a kids stuff that is nothing more then a dream in a bottle and some of it is bad for you.

Amino acids is one supplement that all pro athletes and trainers have agreed on for a very long time. The rest is hard work a good routine and using your head and being CONSISTENT.

Alot of weight and with less reps = Big bulky muscles

Less weight and more reps= more cut and defined muscles

The guy in the picture looks like he does abs more than anything else. The problem with abs is no matter how many crunches you do it does not take away any fat that might be covering up a sixpack you have been working on for months.

For that six pack look you have to first have a sixpack and then have no fat covering that sixpack up.

This is called you "fat muscle ratio" or "body fat percentage".

It is very tricky to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. By nature these two thing defeat eachother. They are opposites.

Inless you start getting fat stick with the routine that is working for you. You are most likely at that age where you are growing and will lose fat anyway. I can say with confidence that any low calorie will be very bad for your physical development.

People that want the body of a god usually end up on steroids or feeling like something is wrong with them. This also is a very counter productive mistake for all the reasons you are working out.

Also about the girl. It is important to look good but also nobody can be yourself better then you can be you. If she is going to be attracted to you it is going to be for this reason. If you try anything different you will probably end up looking like an idiot or strange, however that is not the problem the problem is being yourself around a girl you like and all men f#@k that up.

Dartboy, are you getting any aerobic exercise in with all of the weight training? Walking, jogging, biking, swimming (although swimming can also be anaerobic)? Those do help with weight but like Amigo said, you won't lose too much. The only people who lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time are people like me who are starting from a point of needing to lose a lot more -- and even then the first few weeks are mainly water, then the body settles into a 1 - 2 lb./week pace. You can restrict calories, but since you're lifting that much and you're young and male, I suspect that will do you more harm than good.

Speaking as a woman, I agree with the advice that being a nice guy goes further than being a hot looking guy. Sure, all those California Volleyball players have no trouble getting laid, but if you are in for the long term- it's your personality that has to win her over. You should still pay attention to how you look, but don't worry about having 6 pack abs - very few people can obtain that. I think I've been sweet talked into bed far more than I've been seduced by a guy's muscles. Besides, a god would make me nervous, he might expect me to be a goddess when the dress comes off.

1. try another girl

2. you burn approximately 3,500 calories to lose a pound. the least strenuous way to do it is swimming or bicycling, that way you don't impact hardly the leg joints and not wear out yourself.

my stationary bike is set at a moderate to high tension/resistance, where one hour pedaling at 12 miles/hour burns 600 calories/hour.

do the math on how long per day you need to lose the weight you need to lose.

also moderate the diet to accommodate the exercise. you can alter you caloric intake down to eating ten times in calories the weigh you want to obtain. say you want to get from 200 pounds to 180 pounds begin eating 1,800 calories/day, drinking plenty of water.

if you bike for three hours a day, you'll likely lose at least one-half pound/day without much problem. the major issue most people i talk to is that they'll start a vigorous exercise program and by day three have hurt themselves by straining either their back, knees, thighs or calf muscles.

try biking, start with 15 minutes, rest for 15, then another 15 on the bike, try to accomplish one hour's worth of biking within two hours. you'll be sore the next day, but the pain subsides as each day passes, but try not to strain yourself. you will find that by the third or fourth day you'll begin to have the stamina to pedal for 45-60 minutes all at once. and when that happens you can extend the amount of riding per day to three hours/day and watch the pounds melt away.

that is exactly the way i have dropped nine pounds since february first.

if you're competitive place a mirror in front of the bike and another behind it and try to pass yourself.

forget the scale... if you're doing it right, you won't see any difference on scale anyway. muscles weigh more than fat, so as you loose some fat and gain a bit of muscle, it evens out on the scale.
go by clothing. if nothing else, you'll feel great in those 5 weeks...girl or no girl.

i agree with making sure you have plenty of cardio built into your routine. any last schmuck can lift weights...road to good long-lasting health and trim figure is only and only through cardio. If you run daily for five weeks, you WILL see the difference.

as a guy who used to run 10Ks and 15Ks as a hobby for about 15 years, and ran about 40 miles a week for about 2 decades, i no longer suggest running unless you want bad knees, ankles, tendons, and feet.

even last week my right achilles tendon acted up after surgery from 12 years ago when i stopped running and i could not even lift my foot from the ground due to the pain. mankind may have been built for running, when the average lifespan was under 40 years old, a modern man running every day will wear out running after that time, and likely before. i know i did.

Amigo:
With the Protein Supplements should I still take it if i do less weight and more reps? for the more cut look?
"Less weight and more reps= more cut and defined muscles " What weight should I be doing and how many reps to achive this? just a note, I'm doing weights on a machine, not free weights because I don't have a spotter
"...then have no fat covering that sixpack up" Whats the best way to lose fat from the stomach?

Jespah:
I am doing aerobic exercise on a crosstrainer. I'm not going to restrict calories as I have sports all week and need the enegry for that

Green Witch:
I know what you are saying but come on, if you met a guy with a great personality and a ripped body it would double his chances of getting a date with you?

Farmerman:
Cheers mate Lol

Kuvasz:
Try another girl? I honestly couldn't :S
Thanks for the advice about the bike, I try to stay away from running as I have problems with my knees and I don't want to make it ever worse

Dagmaraka:
The scale is gone, out the window. Very Happy even after the five weeks I think I'd still feeler better with the girl Very Happy but thats just me.
Im getting into the cardio now, I've been doing it 3 times a week but will try to get it up to 5.

Thanks all for the advice so far,

I want six-pack abs in five weeks too! But I want a workout that somehow incorporates watching TV and drinking beer while munching on some kind of cheese snack product. Cheese balls, cheese n' crackers, cheez-wiz, etc. Can somebody help me out here?
