HONEY MUSTARD SALAD DRESSING
Adapted by BumbleBeeBoogie

3 tablespoons cider vinegar
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon freshly minced onion
1 garlic clove, finely minced
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
pinch of salt
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix the vinegar, honey, onion and garlic in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook for 2 minutes, whisking to blend. Remove from the heat and add the remaining ingredients and whisk well to blend. Pour into a covered jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

Good on salad greens and vegetables, and as a meat glaze.
