@Stormwatch,
Morning Izzie and crew. 0-0 result is not what you wanted Captain, good old England is struggling! Some really surprising results ovenight, just ask agent Wandel. Smile

mismi so pleased to read about your new job, happy that things are falling into place for you and you can share the household burden with the Prof. He is lucky to have such a supportive wife.

Thanks for dropping by Stormy, you're another hard working spouse who deserves a pat on the back. No rest for the wicket eh.

The sun is out and the Bosun is going to take a walk through the vineyards, catch you later.

ps. We posted simultaneously again Izzie, ESP? LOL Still have no phone connection!!

@Dutchy,
You will probably be happier when Netherlands plays shortly. Today was a frustrating day for fans of England, United States, and (especially) Germany!

@wandeljw,
Afternoon Crew

Oooooh... after much merriment last night, having a quiet day today - got all of the little fellas stuff sorted for his trip tomorrow. Tulip and the kids left early and headed out to the city for a shopping trip and we're having a lazy day. Great fun last night - trying to upload a video but youtube is so darn fussy these days Shocked - dunno if it will work. You'll get the gist of it from this!

@wandeljw,
Yeah jw... they are so close - we got the sax when S-boy was about 7/8 years old - it was almost as big as him and he didn't want to play it when he realised he had to wear a back brace - none of the other kids had to!!!! S-girl played sax and F-boy played clarinet... gosh, such a looooong time ago

we laughed a lot last nite - some truly bad Grease Lightening dancing going on Razz

we decided to do musical interpretation - so, the kids, and us, didn't know what music was going to put on - then we had to interpret it... seeing the kids doing Moulin Rouge was.... hysterical! We had some Priscilla Queen of the Desert type moves too! They loved it.

all good fun!

I think you requested a serpent, Izzie. Well here it is:

Just a garter snake, startling but not scary.
And because I know you like flowers:

Here's a far-from-perfect photo of a Ruffed Grouse. It was really ticked off at me and moving very quickly. I counted at least 4 chicks but couldn't manage a photo.

Good luck with the new job mismi. Balancing work and kids -- I remember the tug-of-war well -- I'm sure you'll manage. You have a great attitude!

Wow! What awesome pics! One of the reasons I love visiting the yabber liner! Wink

As for that garter snake - I have a little toad house that sits in one of my flower beds and is now inhabited by 3 garter snakes. Snakes scare me to the point of screaming and hauling ass when I see one. These snakes, however, are not about to find a new home. EBBIE JEEBIES! Run - run - run!!
