Little boy with the broken arm came into school today - he had big surgery and has a full arm cast on - he had a beaming smile this morning and we all cuddled him - he's such a sweetheart. Bless him.

It's such a busy time and I am not sure when it will slow down Verby. How is that precious boy of yours? I love that picture of you and him on facebook. He is adorable. How are you doing girly?

Stormy - I hope you all have a great season. Little League is absolutely amazing. I love every single minute of it!

We won our first tournament game last night. So we are moving up into the semi-finals on Thursday night. If we win that one then we will play for the tournament Championship on Saturday. J pitched last night - 2 and a half innings and did not let a run get by him...we were so thrilled! He is a relief pitcher and I have to tell you the pressure I feel when he is pitching is excruciating! He handles it so much better than I do! S did great. Had 3 for 4 in batting. But we were up late and all three of my boys were cr-ankeeeeeeee this morning.

Izzie hope you are having a good day. I am working all week long this week, which is a blessing since I need to pay for the All Star uniforms. Still looking for sponsors.

Hi mismi, congratulations with the boys doing so well in baseball, so hope they will reach the final and do their Mum proud.

My grand daughter and her mother are in town, firstly to visit me ofcourse and secondly to participate in a school netball tournament. Mrs B. went to watch her today, she did really well, scored the most points and the team won.

As for myself, getting there slowly but feeling fine, managed to walk half a mile today, have my appetite back but food is restricted. Thanks for asking.

Morning crew, the Bosun is off to see my grand- daughter play in her netball final, then it is goodbye as she and her Mum will leave immediately for their long drive home (over 500 miles), I tell you those kids love their sport.

Ah, summer is here - UK is getting some good heat - 27-28 deg. Gonna be real warm up your way today Bazza, a little cooler here but just perfect. Gotta go out and do garden, grass badly needs a haircut - now, if only my joints would move and my knee would not collapse - physically crahpy. mentally crahpier. Blood tests at lunchtime - then gotta hit the garden. Seeing a surgeon in June. Oh joy!

R gets the keys to his flat tomorrow! Social Services still have not informed me. Nowt I can do - am obsolete. He starts driving lessons on Monday... then Tues and Thurs... dropping the money over to my parents house for the care staff to pick up at lunchtime - getting him mobile will be good for him. He's scared at being on his own - but excited about the move - even without the bare essentials. The staff are going way and beyond the call of duty - they are letting him take a lot of stuff from where he is now and have gone out and personally bought him some things...they care so much for him on a personal level... have been talking on the phone with them a lot.

fingers crossed for him... a new chapter's about to start for him.




OK - bad hair day - gotta go and make myself look semi respectable and get these bloods out of the way...
