@Izzie,
Hi Izzie good to see you, in view of your comments I have sharpened my beak today, so before tackling the Bosun a word of warning, don't get to carried away with your ambitions, I'll have you eating out of my hand before you can sing lalalalalalla. Laughing

We'll see....I don't think you should count any woman as a sure thing Dutchy. Razz

G-baby is still puny. I am holding my own. But hope to be done with this today.

I have a lot on my "to do" list. So far only have marked off one thing...several more to go and tomorrow is back to work (unless someone else is throwing up).

Hugs to you all

@Roberta,
Morning crew, a meek Bosun is on deck, now the Captain has returned and is talking about peckers. My worry is, does she know the difference between a pecker and a beak? Wink Laughing

verbivore watch that chocolate, we won't know you before long if you keep on eating that stuff, just ask mismi, pretty one day, beautiful the next. Smile

Mrs. B and me will be off coming Saturday for 4 days doing a bit of travelling, so need to do a bit of organising today.

Will be back later.

I've been trying to have a read around and catchup on what's been going on with this 'ere "A2K crew".... gosh........ lots been going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ha - I read an old thread tonight that Gus was posting in - hysterical - he does make I laugh.

Anyhooooo

Well, so far, I've managed not to unpack but was good enough to take the bags out the car and having been sat in the hall for a few hours they have now gone upstairs!!!!!! Razz

I've taken my sleeping potion so I need not to post tonight as I am incredibly tired so might go dooooolally a little sooner than usual - ha!

However, I must just point out one thing to my dearly beloved Bosun...

Beakerrrrrrrrr wrote:

Define Pecker:
British Slang. one's spirits or courage.

2. peckerpecker - bird with strong claws and a stiff tail adapted for climbing and a hard chisel-like bill for boring into wood for insects
peckerwood, woodpecker
piciform bird - any of numerous nonpasserine insectivorous climbing birds usually having strong bills for boring wood
family Picidae, Picidae - woodpeckers
green woodpecker, Picus viridis - woodpecker of Europe and western Asia
downy woodpecker - small North American woodpecker with black and white plumage and a small bill
flicker - North American woodpecker
Campephilus principalis, ivory-billed woodpecker, ivorybill - large black-and-white woodpecker of southern United States and Cuba having an ivory bill; nearly extinct
Melanerpes erythrocephalus, redheaded woodpecker, redhead - black-and-white North American woodpecker having a red head and neck
sapsucker - small American woodpecker that feeds on sap from e.g. apple and maple trees
wryneck - Old World woodpecker with a peculiar habit of twisting the neck
piculet - small woodpeckers of South America and Africa and East Indies having soft rounded tail feathers

3. pecker - horny projecting mouth of a bird
beak, neb, nib, bill

BEAK
Born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, Beak started developing his powers at puberty. His body changed into that of a humanoid-bird form, with a beaked face, bulbous eyes, wing-like arms that give him the ability to fly (albeit clumsily), talons on his hands and feet, and double-jointed knees. He also possesses heightened agility, and he may possess heightened senses and a lighter skeletal structure like the avian X-Man formerly known as the Angel.

Who Knew! Wink

Missy - early night gal. Will see you tomorrow after work if you can. Hope your little man is better in the morning.

@Izzie,
Hello there Izzie,

That makes me cold just thinking about you without a coat and your wellies.

G-baby is still running a fever. Just a low grade - but that puts me out of work today. Which is NOT good. Oh well. He and I will do some more snuggling and watching Sponge Bob (I'm sick of Sponge Bob - but Patrick still makes me laugh - silly - I know).

I stayed up late. I watched Sling Blade and then Harts War. Both were sad yet had such sweet messages. But boy howdy - I am sleepy this morning.

I hope you all have a good day. I shall see you later.

Hugs
