@Izzie,
I am so dang cold!

It is getting cold again here. I tell you I am hating this cold weather. It is March and it should be acting like it is getting warm here. Not threatening to snow again.

I have to let my little man get on the computer and play webkinz. I told him he could if he did his homework. He did.

Hugs to you all
loves ya' I do.

@Izzie,
Best that you bed your head and the rest of your own self.

~~~
Been reading about the tea and desserts at a nice restaurant out in the harbour here. I think I'd like to try it in winter this year. Better step on it, eh?
I think it'd be a nice excursion for the crew. Will work my way up to posting pics. Still a bit of an emotional project.
What's up crew?
Nay, I say again neigh; 'a horse, my kingdom for a horse'! Those immortal words were supposedly spoken by king Richard III of England, but they fell on deaf ears.
However, I heard Missy call me a 'horses ass', this is indeed a most encouraging sign; I do think I am making sterling progress! I wonder if I said she had a nice rack; would she hold it against me?
Good morning shipmates, the day is set fair and just right for adventures I fear. If I be wanted; I be in my cabin with Brooke, undertaking some extracurricular activities if ye knows what I mean!
Great to see ya Missy; I'm just hanging in there; you could say, I'm holding my own.
How are you? I hope you are once again restored to good health.
What could I have done, if I had done all I could have done?
@mismi,
Afternooooooooon Crew
and it is... the afternoon - and what a busy morning it's been at work.
I think I shall have to go lie down for an hour - it's been mad at work - ah, I do work at the nicest wee school - it's brilliant there and my job is fab. There's just so much to do - I never get a chance to stop.
The sunrise this morning was something to behold - wow - everyone came to work with a spring in their step and the kids are loving being outside in the sunshine (chilly tho - it was minus 4 this morning)!
MaMaVerby - ooooooh, hope you can manage to upload pics... any probs then email it over and I'll put it up here.
Missy - hey hey - how are you? Ah, you're gonna be smiling when you see what my "school kids" are doing for the flat fella! Love it - makes me smile so much. Ssssssssh... don't tell G-baby!
POMcTag - well there you are. How's things up country? Hope all swell with FiB and you're having fun doing your classes.
BEAgle - how was the festival - details Bosun - we need details - did I miss them somewhere???
((((((Blue)))))) - you hooooooodoooooolally xox
Thanks everyone for their kind words and PMs about Jazzie. There's a big sad hole in our house and hearts now Sad Last week was vacation week from school, but it wasn't much of a vacation! Big snow and wind..no internet and big fights with the insurance company over pipe problems that have caused major issues with flooring in my kitchen. My kitchen is a mess. I won one initial battle...but the war goes on...jezzz we pay and pay insurance, but when it comes time for needing them.......well I'm sure many of you know that story.
Hoping everyone is well Smile
@Stormwatch,
Ah ((Stormy)) - I can imagine how sad y'all are about Jazzie. So sorry.
Keep battling on with the insurance company - fight for what should be happening and don't give in to their bureaucracy. I hope you'll get it sorted soon, you can surely do without the nonsense. Go girl.
Love to you and yours, Stormy - I hope your sadness will lift with time. x
Hrehaan is so gorgeous... oh ohhhhhhh, look at his little face... oh, gosh MaMaVerby, you must so proud of him - how I'd love to pick him up and smunch him... give him such a big cuddle and kiss from me...
@verbivore,
He is adorable. Getting so big. He has lost his newborn look. Oh Verby - they grow up too fast. ((Verby and Hrehaan)) Take care girl...I know Eby is looking forward to getting back home...and not just for your cooking girl Wink .
Izzie! Thank you so much! I can't wait to see the pics. G-baby is going to be so excited! I love that you have Flat Stanley. Can't imagine him having a better place to visit!
Oh Try - sweet man that you are - so good to see you . You are the most adorable pain in the ass. Wanna' play?
Stormy - I know how you feel. Every time we have to make a claim, it is an issue. I hate insurance. And yet..without it, it might be worse. I guess. Still thinking about you and your family in the loss of Jazzie. Hoping you will get the warmer weather soon...although it's frigid for us down here right now. We are having to go to an indoor Sports place to get batting practice in. Too cold and wet for the fellers to play outside.
Good day. We started practicing for the end of the year school program today. It was so good. The kids have done really well and I was so proud of how they sang. Sweet babies they are.
Hugs all...I am going to go read some a bit before I go get the munchins from the bus.
@mismi,
Morning crew. Enjoyed my day in the city yesterday Izzie. No sooner had I parked my car when I heard the loudest Rock & Roll music you'd ever heard, smack bang in the middle of a buzzing city. I followed the sound to the sports oval hence it came from and there they were, Australia's greatest Rock and Roll band AC/DC practising for last nights open air concert. So I listened to them for an hour for free, they were magical. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QIFyBAtpGE&feature=channel
My next stop was totally different, a book recital by English writer Irvine Welsh. He was an amazing funny storyteller and had the crowd in stitches. His latest book is "Reheated Cabbage" which I will buy.
Stopped at various kiosks, all part of the festival, and ate Dutch Croquettes with mustard and Poffertjes for lunch washed away with a good white wine.
In the afternoon saw numerous artists in action, from singers to musicians, jugglers etc. Lastly visited a painting exhibition which was stunning, would have loved to have taken some home to hang on my walls.
Today is rest day after all that walking yesterday. Smile
