I haven't seen snow in ages, so don't be upset about its existence.
I was born in Siberia, snow and cold weather is in my blood, yet I'm stuck here, scorching, baking, frying myself in California.
we don't seem like a very high scoring bunch, us curlers...

@Rockhead,
had one of those jump over the hood of the CRV last week. M, Mr B and I were all in the car; I was driving. We were a lot luckier than you were. I was amazed at how high she jumped.
Ha TC " yep, we all have a little “interesting”... Mr Fix It’s doing grand fine job " well done. So pleased you decided to sleep with a college fella My bio grandfather was a watchmaker. No stories " only sad ones " but my PaPa can tinker with just about anything and rebuild anything. He can only just work a computer, bless him " but given a clock to fix or jewellery to mend... or build a house or whatever... he’s yer chap. Perfectionist tho " can be infuritating. He aims to please himself.
Thank for the updates TC = they are great to see and read.
Jw... did you see the Brits crash " sheesh " heart stopping, the guy at the front was trapped until the sled came to a halt. They’re OK " ice burns and cuts and bruises... but back in the bob in a few days time. Nerves of steel I reckon.
McT " nice to see you mate " if said mate requires little odd scoks - we’re the odd sock family. I’m no fashion queen " odd socks are fine with me too... but most are the little fellas.
JPB " on the one hand - one does not drive in heap big snow unless absolutely necessary, well that’s us ill-equipped Brits " then again, on the other hand - I would not like to argue with your kitties under any circumstances, especially J-boy. So... glad you went and returned home safe. Your kitties will love you forever. Please do take care as you’re getting hammered with white stuff. Send my love to the family a? and smunch that Joe fella when you see him from me.
RH " sorry about Bambi.... drip drip drop little april showers... coundnee be helped. Glad you were safe. TeamGB is still in " posivibes from here.........................c’mon the boys!
((((Blue))) take care of you xox xxxx
Summing up with the toon for the night
When my head is strong but my heart is weak
I'm full of arrogance and uncertainty
When I can’t find the words
You teach my heart to speak
You make it real for me, yeah
And I'm runnin’ to you, baby
You are the only one who saved me
That's why I've been missin’ you lately
‘Cause you make it real for me
Everybody’s talkin’ in words I don't understand
You got to be the only one who knows just who I am
You’re shinin’ in the distance, I hope I can make it through
'Cause the only place that I want to be
Is right back home with you
I guess there's so much more I have to learn
But if you're here with me, I know which way to turn
You always give me somewhere, somewhere I can learn
You make it real for me
And I'm runnin’ to you, baby
You are the only one who saved me
That's why I've been missin’ you lately
'Cause you make it real for me
Yes, you do, you make it real for me
sleep soon, gotta be up real early am. Love you crew - each and every individual - you're all unique. You know.
Tired -scuse the mistakes. x
((((((((Missy)))))))) miss mis, come back soon. ((((Babbling)))))

Evening Captain, your wish is my command, heading straight to a tropical island nearby, see you under the Palm trees, don't forget to bring your grass skirt.
Any other takers?

@verbivore,
It gets to be in the summer, quite often, yes.
Though on even random days during the winter, we get some odd weather, sunshine everywhere, all sight of winter gone... everyone is out in spaghetti straps and shorts in the middle of winter! Then we get a slightly windy day or some rain, and just as begin to sit back and relax, there comes the darn heat again and we have to turn on the AC for the full day again and try to stay inside..
It really depends on where you live though. My family lives an hour and a half away in the high desert area, and they suffer more much than I do.
Though, of course, some don't mind it. My boyfriend never feels too hot even when I'm dying of heat.
Maybe it's because my family and I are from Russia, and we are not accustomed to hot weather yet. Or maybe it's because everyone else living here is so used to it that they just don't notice it as much as us.
Hi crew, sitting watching the Winter Olympics from Canada.Seeing as Verbs sooooooooo wants to see ice and snow, here's the US champions doing their stuff on ice,India stylee.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUMOBMIGHC0&feature=fvst
