pleeeease leave the car alone.... Rolling Eyes

you are making my spine hurt thinking about your poor engine.

(mr VW give me some earl gray, he dint care for it.)

I'm 'sposed to work in a bit, but don't think there is enough wood in Kansas to make it warm in the shop today. it's rather bitter out there right now. will have another cuppa and consider it again...

Yet another disappointment. It snowed for about and hour...it stuck on the steps but not in the grass. Then it quit and started raining. I am so sad.

@FlavourQueen,
Morning crew, just been for my morning dip. F/Q we have enough sunshine to melt all your snow and ice, 30 degrees at 6.30am and heading for 41 later in the day. Guess where I will be, in my bar with a cold beer, who wants to drink a 'cuppa' in this weather. Smart girl for staying home in your icy weather, whoever said blonds were dumb? Laughing Pleased you had a great time with Izzie, that leather skirt sound something special, a Happy New Year to you and yours as well. ((((FlavourQueen))))

Izzie, as R/H says, once you have your car running in this cold weather let it run for a while to warm up, its just like a human being, wake up do a few exercises, get warm and you feel better. Hope you enjoy your cuppa, I won't be having one with you for reasons I explained to your 'sis' above. Smile

Bloody laptop still not running, can't get my computer to recognise the new gadget something to do with the settings, once I figured that out I should be up and away. Never mind I'll get there in the end. I certainly am no computer wizard I know that much. Laughing

Mismi has snow too, well be careful darling, I hate to see you slip and slide down that drive-way of yours! I can just see it happening and I'm killing myself laughing. (((((Mismi))))

Mrs.B just called me, there is work to be done, catch you all later.

@Izzie,
Don't start it again unless you have a fair shot at going some distance. (It takes about 30 mins of driving to fully recharge a battery, but that's with everything else (lights, Heater,radio) off.
Wait until daylight and the roads are a bit clearer than they are now, then start it up and go. (Don't let it sit there chugging, you're likely to get a moisture build-up in the gas line doing that.) How far is it to town? Or the store?

@Rockhead,
ha Rock - I've stepped away from the car and left it alone - ha! laughing - shouldn't be laughing - so not funny Sad

Razz

Even less funny is I moved the TV - that is the MONSTER TRIASSIC DINOSAUR TV onto the floor and went upstairs and got the semi MONSTER JURASSIC DINOSAUR TV (pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffts - I am so not strong) and brought it down - to discover - that doesn't work either. I've no idea how to tune the darn thing - mind you, it hasn't been used since we moved here - so....

I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!

BBC iplayer will have to tell me what's happening on the news.

Ooooof - my head hurts.

Gosh, aren't I being whiny tonite - bruhahhahhhahahhahha Razz

MIS - gutted for you girlie - I would send you some of our snowflakes - but they'd melt on the way I reckon. We're due for more on Sunday and Monday - school is closed tomorrow and... who know's if we'll be able to open next week. The Chair of Govs - that's the farmer man - he was out along the road on his tractor earlier next to the school and says the road is lethal. No gritting for a week - its a "C" road... not even a "B" road - which means... NO GRITTING AT ALL - we're half a mile off the main "B" road and very high up - the nearest village is 3 miles away, where most of the kids live and none of those roads will be gritted either... so.... WHO KNOWS WHEN SCHOOL WILL START. The Head did email out some work today for the kids, but ya know, they're littluns, they can play in the snow for a bit a? Wink Some of the parents aren't overly happy because they need to go to work - but... they can't get to work, so I dunno what the problem is really. Nem'mind. Can't do ought about the weather!

So................ I'm smiling a bit now - my kitties have been playful and fur has flown. Maddie dawg wanted in on the action too - they're all lolling about now having played.

Been head hunted for another job so will be off to interview in a couple of weeks to see what another company has to offer as I am tired of waiting for any promotion internally

@Joe Nation,
Hey Joe <you dont need a car in Noo Yawk> Nation

Well, we have a tiny village store but they don't have many supplies and the nearest town is 6 miles away - up a big long hill, along the road, by the moors, and down a big long hill!!!!!!!!!!! I don't need to go out coz I've got enough frozen food (ha) and the roads aren't safe enough to drive on anyhoo. Will leave the car alone now until I need to go somewhere. I'm supposed to be in the city for a VERY VERY ULTRA life changing important meeting on Monday with my lawyer.... <pass me your pen Joe - YEAH, that pen, I'm finally signing the dotted line, that dotted line to my 1644th life, GOSH, I got the courage a few weeks ago strangely from reading something that set me straight finally>... but, I don't reckon I'm gonna make it into the city somehow. I've actually signed it... just need to seal it now. Very Happy

BEAgle - hmmmmmm... do you wanna skype me in and I can try and walk you thru the connection ... coz you know how good I am on computers (HA - SO NOT!!!!!!!!!! Can't even tune the TV)...

oh... I'm feeling so much better now - chuckling away here!

Little fella is sneezing upstairs Shocked

Hello, all. Been popping in for short peeks but little posting. Trying to get back to feeling human after the busyness of Christmas. Mostly I am tired, tired, tired. And cranky. Will likely post more when I get my sunny disposition back. (Don't hold your breath! Razz )

Hello FlavourQueen. Fourteen guests? Will not complain on my six. Sending you a "thirty degree temperature increase" coupon.

Hello Izzie. Do we need to dig you out...

Five to seven more inches of snow fun on its way. Charcoal and carrot on standby.
