HAPPY NEW YEAR CANADA EAST AND THE EAST USofA

hope y'all have had a great nite and celebrated the new year. It's been a lovely evening here and going to be shortly... 5.10am... had some fireworks and the kids had sparklers - we Auld Lang Syned and spent a fab evening with friends and family

pics to post whenever...

methinks I'm in need of some sleep

Nite Darling - glad you had a fab time... FQ sends her love - it's been great here - quiet, little bit of singing and dancing and a "Chocolate Murder Mystery in French"! We were rubbish, no-one got it right but we ate the chocolates with the poison in Shocked

Heading upstairs now... might job pop out and take a couple pics in the snow

Got about 23 more minutes before the Prof and I ring in the New Year...the boys made until East Coast rang it in and I was carrying them up the stairs. We actually watched a dude break the World Record for a jump in a car I think...happened in Long Beach, CA rather than watching the ball drop...apparently that ball is just not exciting enough for my three sons.

Have my Champagne ready to go...not long now.

Good Morning! No worse for the wear! Have been up and out and had a game of football at the neighbors house already...going for our black eyed peas and turnip greens a little later at the in-laws!

We had good fun, good music, not too much food or drink. A very successful celebration, all in all.

Today is football, R&R, a bit of work that I've put off to the last minute (who, me?), and I'm toying with the idea of taking down the Christmas tree. I'll probably toy with it awhile longer --- maybe days, maybe til next weekend. Dunno yet. These big decisions must be handled with care.

ehhhh -- screw it. The tree stays up for another day, at least.

Oh mine is still up there...I think I will pull down the outside decorations! I mean - don't want anyone to think we are rednecks or anything! Wink

I am glad you had fun JPB! We were quite the mellow little group - all piled on the couch watching Travis Pastrana break the World Record for the longest rally car jump. Okay - maybe we are a little redneckish. Very Happy
