An e-mail yesterday, JPB? Izzie has not posted in more than 24 hours (very unusual for her). Did the storms in her area cause loss of electricity?

I'm really becoming quite concerned. Don't they have home help nurses in England?

I'm glad you got an e-mail yesterday JPB and I hope Izzie's silence means she's getting some much needed rest. It is hard not to be concerned though, as such a long silence is unusual and she has so much on her plate in addition to feeling unwell.

I'm feeling a little better myself -- good thing as I'm expected at work tomorrow. Didn't cough up half a lung this morning which made a nice change. I've turned the corner I think. Still have a nasty little wheezy spasmodic cough. Last time this happened (years ago) needed a "puffer" to tame it so may still have to see the Dr.

Hope the rest of you are dodging the cold and flu germs out there.

Izzie take the advice from the girls here, stay in bed until you are completed recovered from your illness. Am asking the same question as Miss Letty, doesn't your Council provide free nursing for you? We have it here called Bush District Nursing and sick people on their own get daily visits from them. Sending you vibes for a speedy recovery, don't worry about the "Yabber-Liner", she is in good shape with everybody doing their bit. You have a great crew.

A miracle has happened downunder, the Siamese twins, joined at the head and separated after a 30 hour long operation, are progressing well. They have woken up after their induced coma and smiled at their carers. The wonders of the medical work is nothing short of amazing. These twins were found in an orphanage in Bangladesh and brought to Australia over 2 years ago during which time Doctors studied their case and after immaculate planning finally separated them.

Well it had to happen, with our hottest November day on record, bush fires are burning all over the place in my State, damage sofar only to wheat crops and bushland and no casualties. The long awaited cool change is about to hit us with rain predicted for the next few days and that will take care of the fires.

Great news on the twins, dutchy. Hoping you get your much needed break from the heat.

I took care of the food Annis. I ordered pizzas. Vegetarians, meat lovers, plain with cheese,..and my favorite, pepperoni and anchovies. Thankfully, no one requested a ham and pineapple pizza.

Good job on grades. Speaking of massages, I went for my first one (gift certificate) about a month ago. A bit nervous. Going to an unknown building, to get almost naked in a dark room for a complete stranger. At least let me buy her a coffee or something. Kidding. Anyways, after a few minutes I did relax, and this woman must of cracked, pulled, twisted, stretched, every bone and muscle in my body. Instant jello. My new best friend. That is a good field you are pursuing.

That made me laugh Alex...I got a young feller the first time I went for a massage. Holy cow. I was nervous. He knew it.
