@Dutchy,
Are you talking about women in general Dutchy? Or just me and JPB? You must be feeling pretty perky tonight to be so daring. Wink

@mismi,
Just being my usual self dear mismi, not trying to be daring at all, only gets me into trouble, however I was talking about you in particular. Wink Laughing

@Dutchy,
Well, it's true. I can usually find something to talk about to my own detriment. It usually gets me into trouble.

Good Night Dear Dutchy...I am calling it a day.

Hope you have a good one. x

@Izzie,
Iz! .....You were on Asgard!

I did a trip up to the Hawkesbury on her - just magic (apart from the seasickness!)

Those First Fleet re-enactment ships were fantastic - I ended up running away to sea on another of them, as she headed back to Europe, got deported from Yemen, and ended up in Egypt. Great days - and I'm still in contact with some of those people!

@margo,
Morning Crew

Ahhhhhhh... how lovely to see lotsa folk have been on the deck Very Happy

Margo - ah, yes, she was a mighty fine ship to sail. Well, this year, before the US trip happened, I had made enquiries about crewing on Lord Nelson or Tenacious (they are the only fully access friendly ships here) - however, the minimum age requirement was 14 - so the little fella is just a tad young. BUT - I know I will do it again! My colleague's PaPa has a sail boat - so have made the call to http://foweyharboursailingschool.com/index.php and hoping to hear back from J-PaPa soon! I feel the need, tho my hands and feet may disagree!

NOW NOW NOW - The very good news of the day was the sound of two kitties racing up and down the stairs after they found one another. I had been out searching for my black kitty this morning - then came up here - heard the catflap go and the boys raced in. Phew.

The Shores Of Home - NewFound(Cat)Land

Wishing everyone a GREAT GREAT weekend - I shall be around for a bit, then off to the little fellas rugby and no plans for the evening - just me 'n the kiddo.

@Dutchy,
Hey BEAgle - thanku darlin' - <I don't think he'll get to play because he's sub, but am going along shortly and hoping they may give him a few minutes towards the end Razz> The team he is playing are brilliant - and...... oh so BIG! He's positioned to be on the wing - takes after his MaMa with his running (did) but he'd actually make a very good scrum half - he's not too happy with his passing tho, believes his wee legs will get him over the line if he can catch the spin. Bless him - he worked soooooo hard to get on the team.

Kick off is at 2.30pm, so I'm going for the second half. His Dad and partner have taken him down (touchy subject - pfssssssst with his Dad's day mucked up - ha - can't go there, shutup woman Rolling Eyes grinds teeth and attempts to be quiet... pffffstttttttttt)

llalalallllllllllllalalalala

'Tis a little on the chilly side today - overcast - but my garden is just all GREEN.... green green green - bamboo is taking over but it actually looks rather lovely, so is staying for the time being. Black kitty is laying beside me.

I think S-boy and I may start his travel scrapbook tonite - maybe light a fire (darn, didn't call the chimney sweep, darn darn darn) and have got some logs in the garage - yep, there's a plan! Ha - can you tell, I'm at a bit of loose end at the moment, don't quite know what to do with myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talking inane jibber and tired to boot - I am going to make a cuppa and go find my Eleanor Rigby in the jar by the door - haven't used it for a while Very Happy

oh oh oh.... colleagues MaMa called back - J-PaPa is sailing around Greece this week but is back next weekend - she says she's sure we can work something out and get a sail in - HOW HAPPY IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now.... might have to call Tulip and see if she fancies going too. Blooming marvellous that would be! Very Happy

TO THE REDS

(we are the REDS) Razz

Little fella verra happy - he got to play the second half, on the wing, didn't touch the ball once - BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!!!!!!!! he shouted lots of encouragement and the team did so well. Really good game, the masters were delighted; a couple of injuries, which is not so good, but the lads will be fine Sad

So, went to the cake shop and got a BIG lemon sponge celebratory cake. Lubbly jubbly... mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmm good!

gonna make tea!

@Izzie,
Hi! Sounds great Izzie. I know S'boy is thrilled.

We are just hanging out watching football. I am telling you - It is going to be the same every Saturday. We did go to The Pancake House. Which was very good. AND I didn't have to cook breakfast - which always pleases me. Smile

Go Vols. War Eagle. All that good stuff...where're the snacks?

hugs y'all

My lad's still carrying some aches and pains from rugby- he was a prop, because he's built like a pit-prop (and speed 0-10mph in 5 mins) but he will be here tomorrow with his girlfriend and I will get a photo of the three scarves which FionaB has knitted from the bobbly wool she got from the knitting and craft shop in Tavistock Market, so watch this space- one of the scarves has to go to the girlfriend, see.
Glad the black cat's back. I thought I had frightened it off, earlier. A bit highly-strung. And that's just the cat.

Mis........... snacks are profiteroles right now!

The afternoon turned out to be glorious - sunshine and blue skies. I took some pics a couple hours or so ago of my neighbours leaves and some b/flies in the garden ... I know, sounds very ordinary bleugh - but the colours are sensory overload. Gorgeous colours. Uploading to youtube - tho not sure it will work.

<did someone pass some germs... we are both spluttering and little fella has a nasty cough!>

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie and crew. Great to read about S-boys win Captain, his performance sound like C in PL when playing football. Lots of running and shouting but hardly ever touches the ball but he has lots of fun which is the main thing.. Laughing

Early Sunday morning here, 6.15am so going to surprise Mrs. Beagle, set the table and make breakfast. Wink

Back later.

It's rainy here Izzie...
Good Morning Dutchy!

I will talk to you later. I have to go get something substantial (other than chips, dip and beer and icecream) into the family (no the kids have not been drinking beer)
