Hi Izzie, thank you for the birthday cake, Mrs.B was most impressed. Off to town shortly as I got talked into it, taking her out for lunch.

WHO on earth would think that whilst I was travelling, the guitar fairy visited my house and filled it full of beautiful music - and upon said discovery of accoustic guitar with 6 strings.... (not quaver along one strong) as it had been living a lost and mournful existance propped next to the joanna (which has also seen better days) and experiencing the "lonely life of one string"...........

Well, the tunes came out from the revived guitar- the 6 string baby - and the little fella played. He took it to bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (just how many time can he "play smoke on the water"

Amazing.... you know these little wee fairies were very quiet about the generous deeds they did - more than one - ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... if I could hug those fairies for making me smile HUGE - I would.

You know who! Thanks laddie. Bless you and yours - you are special folk!

Hello all...

I am home. It was great. The Prof. and I had a wonderful time. But of course while I was away G-baby got sick. He had an asthma episode last week. But this week got a nasty bug - it's going around the school and I guess with his asthma acting up it wasn't prudent to send him back. He has been running fever all week. Now my Mom has it...so I am waiting for the next victim. Poor family. I was suppose to start work tomorrow - but now will have to wait. I am not sure how to deal with it all right now...will process it tomorrow. Maybe. I might wait until the weekend to process it...I'll just do the next thing.

The next thing is to go to bed I guess.

Hi mismi, welcome back, glad you and the Prof. had a good time. Poor G-baby copping a bit of bad luck of late, sure Mum will find a way out and deal with it. Good night, rest well. (((mismi))).

Mrs. Beagle and I had a lovely luncheon in town, just home and ready to put my feet up. Will pop in now and then.

S-boy was so late to bed. His alarm went off at 6.30am - he got up, sat on his chair and promptly fell back to sleep. My "just in case" alarm then went off - we had 10 mins to get him dressed, breakfasted, school bagged and in the car to get to the school bus. OH MY My work day had to change today (which worked out pretty well, all things considered) - so, being totally and utterly pooped now, after a fab evening yabbering our socks off, I'm gonna go and have a rest. That's a little pathetic a? before 10am - ha - who cares - not moi at this point

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo.... will be back later to see who's about and see if I can actually get some more pics posted. Got a ton of 'em!

Hi Tulip, thank you for your kind thoughts, its never to late. Glad you liked your trip down under, our relaxed lifestyle and the weather. The latter not so flash where I live at the moment but that will change in the coming months as another hot summer has been predicted.

G-baby is still running a 102 temp...he has been on antibiotics since Monday. But when his temp is down he acts normal -quite sweet and happy. Just wish this would be over...he missed a whole week of school - of course he is thrilled. The twins are wishing they would get it...I am praying they don't. My Mom had to go home today. I didn't get to visit with her much at all.

Morning all, back on deck after being away all day yesterday due to a big event in my home town.

Wise advice McTag, hope the ladies take note, spinning heads is not a good sign. Mathos is still in touch, received several "funnies" from him a couple of days ago.

Saturday morning here and must go to the shopping centre, Mrs.B managed to organise another list, I can only assume to get me out of the house.

G-baby seems better this evening. He even ate better today which always makes me feel better. Thank you Dutchy.

I just have adjustment issues every time I get back from vacation. AND I have to start work next week. I don't really want to. I know...it is a great job. I should be so thankful...but, well...there is always so much to do around here. It's just one more thing.

Poor G baby, plenty of liquids, hope he gets better soon. antibiotics can take a little while to get going.

I am ok thanks, actually have been very naughty but so excited - just booked to go away for Christmas, not staying at home! We are going to Finland to see the Northern lights, I have always wanted to see them! We are husky sledging and on snowmobiles and reindeer watching and spending a night in the forest chasing the lights. Its all booked everything and we can not wait!! We have booked a log cabin with roaring fire for all of Xmas! just me and the kids!!
