Welcome home Izzie, bet you're feeling a little lost after such a hectic tour and packing in so many sights. Just take it easy for a few days until you'll find your feet properly. All well down under, had contact with Indeedee a couple of weeks ago, she is doing fine.

Mismi wishing you and the Prof. a safe and enjoyable trip. San Diego is a nice place, so my son tells me, he's been there several times when he visit the Tuna farms in Mexico. Pleased to hear G-baby is doing well.

Back to work, Mrs B. has made my schedule for today, as we're having a couple of Kiwi's as visitors tomorrow. Incase you don't know, Kiwi's are New Zealanders.

Izzie - that sounds wonderful. Enjoy it...you can always be better tomorrow!

G-baby has had a great day. His teacher said he had a little trouble this morning but after his first breathing treatment he hardly had another cough. This is good. Now I just have to hope and pray we miss the flu...300 hundred kids out of the middle school next door. There were only 25 missing at the elementary school...so that's good. 300 kids...that's a lot.

yep, I'm good. I slept until 7:00 this morning which is waaaaaay late for me.

I'm glad G had a good day. Do you have to go in every day or is this something the school nurse can take over for you eventually? K had an inhaler at school but she was older and was allowed to carry it in her backpack and use it as needed.

Have a wonderful trip with the Professor. You're gonna love San Diego!

I'm so glad to hear that G-baby is feeling better mismi. It's a good thing his teacher knows what to look out for, maybe that will give you some peace of mind when you aren't with him. Hope the flu does miss you and yours...keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Uggggg...back to school tomorrow for me. Summer was way too short and rainy this year

I went to IKEA at the weekend, and saw this giant crispbread so I just had to get some. It's more than a foot across.



So we had a scandinavian meal last night, with marinated herring, dried salt cod and chopped pine needles, on crispbread.

The word Knackerbrod made me smile McT,especially with the picture of the horse.

mismi..there are lot of mails doing the rounds here about stes to keep the flu away
some being - adding adequate quantity of
garlic, turmeric, cloves, tulsi, lime juice, green tea, vitamin e & whey protien shake to your diet

incessant washing of hands, feet and faces being yet another step..
we ourselves are scared at home..so keep doing ths...atleast the first four thngs are regularly and compulsarily included in our diets as it improves over all immunity..

Me getting too sleepy these days..wake up late..come office late..gt back late..and continue the routine lazy baby i have inside

HA - McT - little fella and I are knackered!!!!

WOULD YOU BELIEVE S-BOY SLEPT FOR 15 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he was catching up on a month's worth of sleep. Bless him. I had to wake him at 2pm - then for about an hour we kept saying "love your momma" in a bluesy way - such good memories of that evening in Chicago. I slept for over 9 hours - so, not bad - just flagging a little again now.

Since then - have achieved very little. Ha - months worth of mail to deal with too - ugh - mebbe tomorrow a? Have been attempting to put all the stuff away from the cases - but I get distracted too easily Who me! I keep looking at the little mementoes we have picked up along the way and then just sit there smiling for a while.

anyhooooo - must go and make some phonecalls - whilst we were away Maddie Dawg had a fight with a gorse bush - and ended up at the vets on a Sunday and had to go under anaesthetic to sort her eye out. (what is it with my animals and injured eyes)!!! She's fine now - but the rather large vets bill needs to be sorted and I need to see if her pet insurance (she's the only animal insured) will cover it after the fact. Hey ho. She's right as rain now - so no worries.






MaMaVerby - try not to worry girlie - your little one is protected inside you - just keep following the advice your being given and try and rest as much as you can. It must feel like a big struggle right now - but those little bubs are quite resilient before they enter the world - it takes it's toll on you, so eat as you can and sleep when you can. Before you know it, your little smunch will be here. Big gentle hugs to you sweet child.

Bazza - how's you? I wasn't up early enough to call you today but will try and catch up with you tomorrow. Hope all is ticketyboo up in London Town.


Mis - how's G-baby today? Hopefully doing much better - so glad you and the Prof are off to SanD. Be nice for you just to have some time together - ENJOY and make the most of just the two of you time. love you x

JPB - hope you got some big sleep and have recovered from the Brit invasion. ahhhhhhhhhhh - missing the Beautiful daughter M - wish I could cuddle her again. Please tell her we miss her.

Now - as for my naughty boyz here - they are so happy to be in the house and keep tumbling everywhere - fur all over the carpet!!!!!!!!!! When we came home and saw the size of our kitties - they just look so tiny compared to your boys JPB. Ours look like tiny kittens and hardly weigh anything. The first thing S-boy told his Dad when he spoke to him, was about J-cat. You know, it wasn't about the holiday or the blues or the Hancock Tower - but "Dad, you should have seen these cats" - ha - kidz!

Ok........... onto insurance phonecalls........... oh........ just noticed - 5pm... all shut now - there's a thing - tomorrow now (my bad!)

Wow...15 hours is a long sleep! 9 hours really isn't so bad for you...but you will need a few nights of that to get back to normal I would think! I will keep my fingers crossed

G-baby is fine. I have been up to the school for his breathing treatments twice today. I may just go up once tomorrow. It really puts a crimp in my day...we all know once I lose focus...well - it ain't easy to get back. And I thrive on accomplishing things...so I am starting to feel like a slug - since I have not been accomplishing much a'tall. I will keep plugging away.

Hugs all...back to try to find the focus. Kind of like trying to "Feel the Force" - it can be elusive.
