Well - I helped someone paint their living room today. Now I know why I haven't started mine yet. Yuck. That's not fun. BUT she is finished and she can now get her house in order. She is like my little sister and I couldn't let her flounder around that room for two more days with three little ones running around. So, I added my three and we had a painting party - with 6 little whiners thrown in! It was a good day. I love days like today...I will like it even more when I am laying in my bed.

Just to say we are OK. Unfortunately we lost power this morning so we've moved over to Wichita and are staying in a hotel - we are in the most amazing thunder storm on the 16th floor - haven't seen the likes of this before - makes me want to be a storm-chaser.

Been thunder boomers all day - quite simply incredible.

Very tired today but it's great to be here.

I love a good thunderstorm. Sorry you all had to move to a hotel - but 16th floor during a thunderboomer sounds fun to me. As long as you don't lose power! Glad you are there safe and sound. Rest up all of you. xox love you.

Hi mismi, I'm around the place and following Izzie's travels with interest. Been doing a spot of fishing and getting enough for a feed.. Tonight is my grand daughters 11th birthday party and the wole family will be going to the local hotel for dinner. Catching up with the other side of the family who live inland and we don't see to often. Looking forward to a great night. Despite the insults you're still one of my favourite girls. (((mismi)))

Oh boy! Thats another order done!

Hi all, fabulous morning here, sea is like a mirror under an azure blue sky. Quite a few fishing boats out on the water and on their way to the Tuna farms. Last nights birthday party went off well and the kids had a ball.

Izzie must tell you this, you will appreciate it. One of M.s friends has built a beautiful home on top of a hill overlooking Pl. and the surrounding bays, just fabulous. He has purposely fitted his toilet with a GLASS door so you can enjoy the million dollar view at your leisure!

Back at the house now and with some AC. The hotel view of the storm was fabulous " huge windows overlooking the city and the whole sky lit up with forks of lightening striking all over the place " I haven’t managed to upload any pics yet, but I will. I have a lightening strike that I think Beth will love " I purpled it to show the strike " it’s a Beth pic I reckon.

Have a flower pic that is a Missy pic " I love it.

Been over to the Roadkill tonite to eat whilst Rock was working - thanku Rock " great food " S-boy is eating like a horse at the moment " reckon he’s growth spurting " ‘cept he doesn’t think he’s growing any! Bless him " he’s been a star on this journey. He's lovin' Kansas.

G-baby goes to meet his teacher today. I am sort of sad. My babies are going back to school. They start full-time tomorrow. Just not long enough...summer should be longer.

Izzie - I can't wait to see your pics. I am busy today - Have so much on my plate. Kids supplies, and such. Music to practice, I will most probably be procrastinating quite a bit - the more I have to do - the more I drag my feet!
