Hey BEAgle... I am... not up to much. Looks like we're on a quiet sail today. Laying on my berth with my black kitty who is purring like a steam train. On own this weekend. Doing a spot of Wordsworthing "Wandering lonely as a Cloud" but the daffodils are buttercups.
Ahhhhhhh... this time last weekend we were all on our way Must try to do something useful today - mebbe in a little bit.
Hope all is ticketyboo with you and you enjoy the Golden Day. You will. How wonderful
FQ's hub is back today from Utah - they've really missed each other - he was playing team building out there for a couple weeks with some lads - and she's glad he's coming home. He's knackered. A big lorry took out her front wall in the garden yesterday - bless - she has bricks everywhere. Luckily no-one was hurt (learner driver in the lorry who passed his test yesterday ) but they had left their details and witness reports so it will all get sorted no probs. We did laugh last nite - fancy driving home and finding your wall gone. Hubby will have a fit. HA! IT'S JUST A WALL - no biggie!
I'm missing her bigtime.
Sun is shining midst the clouds and a few showers in Devon - garden needs a serious haircut. Not today.
I'm getting a black bin liner today - then going around the house and all the things I haven't picked up since the day I moved here... are going in the bag and to a place where someone can make good use of them.
A truck hit FQ's wall? The driver of that lory must have been kin to Robert Frost, Izzie.
“Something there is that doesn’t love a wall.”
Hope we get to see photo's from the American in England, etc.
Hey, we love you Brits regardless of our Declaration of Independence.

@Izzie,
Hello again Izzie, since my last post visitors have rocked up, and we're in the process of downing a bottle of spirits accompanied by tasty titbits of everything.
Doesn't time fly, last week this time you were having a great time with FQ, no wonder you miss her. Happy for her K. is home again. Lucky both weren't in the front garden when that lorry hit.
Hope you get your planned chores done today, then put your feet up and watch the Williams sisters battle out the final at Wimbledon. I know we will.
Going back to my visitors, enjoy the rest of your day. (((Izzie)))

Good morning all,
Its a rainy, overcast day here in Western Ky, but its still a great day.
Stacy and I have been married 1 year today.
How she has put up with me for this long I will never know.
We are going to the river this evening to watch the fireworks and enjoy ourselves.
Happy 4th of July to everyone here in the states.
I realize that its a day of mourning for our Brit friends but its a good day for Americans.
There really hasnt been much going on around here, just working and going home.
Sorry " one of those days. My bin liner is still in the cupboard.
Congratulations Jeff & Stacy " HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
“May you always be warmed by each other's smile,
Always take time to walk and talk a while,
Always know deep down you're each other's best friend,
And enjoy the kind of love that grows and knows no end.
Wishing you an 'always' kind of love!”

Wow MM. Congrats on your first year toward what I pray will be a long, long, LONG life of happiness together. ElStud and I are going on 50 years together and a whole lot of that was really good.
And Happy Independence Day to Americans, happy other celebrations for others, and a great Saturday wished for everybody else. The sun is shining in New Mexico but we are anticipating rain.
I tried to auction him off a couple of times, but nobody could afford him. Back then we had one car so anybody who ran away from home would have to make other arrangements. So we often speculated that if we had ever had the price of a bus ticket AND clean laundry all at the same time, one or the other of us would have left.
But he was a keeper from the beginning and still is. I like to think he feels the same way about me.
If not, we still don't usually have the price of a bus ticket AND clean laundry on the days we're really mad.
Stacy is actually my 2nd wife.
I lost my first one years ago to COPD.
If she had lived we would have been married 20 years last September.
But, I count myself as a very lucky man.
I have had the privelege to love 2 women in my lifetime (not counting my mom).
And right now Stacy means more to me then my own life.
To use an old cliche, she has made me the man I am today.
After I lost Kathy, I let myself go.
I didnt care about my health, I didnt care about my diet, and I just didnt care if I lived or died.
Now I do, and I owe it all to Stacy.
You are indeed blessed to have somebody you can feel that way about. As is she.
