SoHo - could go to FQ's fave pub there and sit and watch the world go by. Love it. The dates aren't looking too good for me travelling up there then coz I'm hoping to be up the weekend before for the Hyde Park Party with Bazza - but who knows a? - travelling to London is so much easier than going to town here! Afternoon Izzie, hope you had a good sleep, enjoy the rest of your Sunday out in the sun and take care of them hands. Our day was all rain but welcome just the same.

Hey BEAgle.......... well, I've got my shorts and T on and I'm off into the garden - it's incredibly warm (for the UK) and the sky is the bluest blue imaginable.

I just went into the kitchen and found feathers........... ugh.......... lots of feathers and a shrew. Prizes from the kitties - yukyukyuk. They both look exceedingly pleased with themselves. Nasty 'ole business that.

Taken some pain meds - ya know, haven't had to take many painkillers for the last week, even with work and being so tired - this is huge progress - hands are a real problem today tho, feet yesterday. Hey ho - it will pass. I struggle more with it when I "stop".... I stopped yesterday - so, today will be a bugger no doubt. No work for the next week - hoping to go out and do some trips. I wanna go find me a bluebell wood.

I just rang my PaPa - asked him to come over and help me with something. Haven't asked him to help with something for a long time - I need a blind put up that I just can't do, drilling into metal - then maybe if the room is darker it will help me stop waking at 5am (I don't have any windows covered, but maybe need to)

MaMa is out for the day visiting with my Godmother (she's still poorly) - so, I thought I may try and talk with my PaPa about some stuff - it's been a long time since we talked......properly ........see what he says. I already know what he's going to say about stuff and I'm a bit worried about feeling shi!te about it - but ....... ack....... feeling really insecure right now and just need to talk here. Rambling...... need to ramble. Going back outside now and try to stop thinking about things.

R-boy has gone to the beach with his friends. How lovely is that. Makes me smile big. S-boy is at a Laser "PaintBall" Party - combats, the lot - he'll be having a wonderful time. This is all good.

Pleased to hear you muttering on in your shorts and T, get it off your chest Izzie, I'm quietly listening. Hope PaPa is gently with your feelings and can help you put up that blind, a dark room certainly assist with sleeping.

I have aluminium roll up shutter blinds on the outside, firstly to keep out the heat in summer, secondly to keep the burglars out when we're away and thirdly to make my room pitch black which helps with sleeping.

Talking about sleeping, almost that time here, having an early start with certain things to attend to. Good night from downunder Captain. (((Izzie)))

yep...... just did it again too Beth ... written it all out..... it's saved 'til I can make myself say it out loud. It's just mixed up thoughts coming from varying degrees of nothingness and everything-more-than. That doesn't make sense. Balance. Need to get the balance right.

Actually..... all is good. All is good. I've just had a little too much time to think about stuff this weekend - if I allow myself to think.......... I'm screwed. It was gonna be a busy weekend - it ended up just being busy in my head. Quit thinking. Works wonders. Bubblesville.

I do have my wooden blinds up in my bedroom now which is a bit happy. I stuck the hoover hose up to the window as PaPa drilled through the metal and walls " we make a pretty good team when we do anything " always did " heck, we pretty much built a bungalow together, times gone-by. He’s creaking more these days " then he looks at me and says “you creaked too early in your life” " then the sad face. I just said “I’m doing great these days Dad”! Told him I was going to London again and going to go to the Hyde Park Party in June " he actually seemed quite pleased! Well, maybe not pleased - but fairly encouraging. Actually he said "Magic!" MaMa won’t be happy tho, I know that already. Ho hum.

We sat and drank a cuppa in the garden.... twice...... just, I couldn’t get myself to open the conversation up about anything. Maybe another time.

"girls" night in! Get some comfort food from the fridge,slap in Mamma Mia,press play at 8 o'clock and I'll do the same.
