@mysteryman,
Welcome Connor. Oops, or was it Conner, I'm off by a page now.

(I thought you'd gone all trendy and had a grandson whose name was a riff on Canoe Wink )

Just love that we have Baby Conner Crew to keep Baby Noah Crew company in the Ship's play pen. Such truly wonderful news - blessings being counted one by one.

@verbivore,
I just finished reading Shantaram by Gregory Davis Roberts. Quite a read. Took it to my chemo sessions and dreamed I was in India. It's a pretty intense book, isn't it? But absorbing. Hubby is reading all 900 pgs. now Wink I thought the title was a little strange considering he was only called Shantaram a few times in the book. The author does have a website by the same name as the book. Interesting guy.

@bathsheba,
Verbivore I didn't have time to read the whole book as the library wanted it back, but I have it reserved for a follow up. Amazing guy, have seen him on Television here too. I'm pleased you take the other thread with a grain of salt because it is meant to be a bit of fun.

Hi bathsheba I'm meeting you everywhere today, pleased you're able to put pen to paper so to speak at the various threads. We live in a small world don't we now that we have the internet at our fingertips. I'm down under, verbivore is in India, Izzie is in the UK and you are in Canada.

ddxx I'm about to wipe that smirk of your face. Wink

@verbivore,
verbivore don't under estimate your writing skills, despite your described hectic lifestyle, you write a wonderful personal blog. I've just read your latest episode "Love & Levity" and it is another beauty. Congratulations.

@Dutchy,
I could have sworn I just read a posting by our Captain. Laughing

Sad story about Mr. Cameron's 6 year old son Ivan passing away. I loathe politicians but do not wish tragedies like that happening to them. Mr David Cameron is the UK Opposition Leader for those that don't know.

Saw the plane crash of the Turkish Airliner in Amsterdam on TV Izzie, they reported 9 were killed out of the 143 passengers.

Your Auntie turned 90 today Izzie, well I just got of the phone to my last Auntie alive in Germany, she turned 92 today and is thinking of travelling to Australia later this year!

How is that for remembering your "Phantom" post Izzie? Laughing

Have a nice day.

@Dutchy,
Pretty good BEAgle... I'm sorry. I got upset listening to the news and decided to pull the post. Hearing about David Cameron's son ... well... you know.... just terribly sad.

I'll put post back without the other bits:

Morning Crew

Great to see our Bathy back on board and to have so many crew around chatting and supporting one another. Indeedee - thinking of you girl with the prospect of an ugly day tomorrow - be safe girl... love to you and yours. Vegemite, BEAgle... hugs to all...

My young Godmother (not Aunty C who is still working her way towards her century) - Aunty N - is 90 years young on 13th March. We're having a wee party for her in her Nursing Home on the 14th and on the 15th March - she is going into hospital for a hip replacement. Made the invites last nite. She is truly inspiring, as is my older Godmother.

Aunty N in her "hey" day - bless her

K - going to get on with a few bits and pieces.

Lovin' y'all. x

@Tai Chi,
Hi, all! Oy, been on shore leave a bit too long, haven't I! & I don't have time to read all the 'back yabberin''! I've been in the land of facebook , an addicting little place & I've got old friends coming out of the woodwork from every nook & cranny of my if & as far back as elementary school! I can hardly keep up!
Said my congrats to Stacy on "fb", but I'll say them now to you, Jeff -CONGRATS, GRAN'PAW! = )
Still got a 4th grader home sick from school, with a temp, cough & crud in his chest. He's been out since Monday and is chomping at the bit to go back! He loves school. (Can you believe it?!)
I'll try to do better at making it onboard. Someone may have to send the dinghy out for me from facebook-land though! ttyl
