@Roberta,
Hey Boida...

Tired.... oh so verra tired. Had to call the doctor coz my throat, neck and chest were hurting so bad, hurt to breathe - was reassured it was just from internal inflammation from being tubed for hours and should go away over the next few days - meds don't help with this unfortunately but they are controlling the feet discomfort. Not feeling too bad right now and my feet are doing remarkably well - I can even potter about and no huge pain at all - can only potter for a few steps - but really amazingly well considering. Fall asleep at the drop of a hat. Thanku for asking hun - on the whole, I'm managing OK.

***********************************************************************************************

FQsis - yep, lovely to see K and have his big hug - he brought me chocolates and we munched and watched the rugby with L-boy whilst I lay on the sofa being a whus. He held my hand when I was needing a cry. Needed that today. Love my bro - was great just to have him here - he told me he'd left your pressie in the attic - I didn't need to ask what - HA! Snuffle. Bless! Razz Hope you've had a good day and will R&R tonite. Can't wait to see you in 3 weeks - love you. x

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, great you had some much needed company today and got a big hug and chocolates, so much deserved girly. Take care.

Hi F/Q, nice to know you were not forgotten on Valentine's Day, would appear K and I share the same tastes. Wink

Mismi keep guessing. Smile

Nice day here today so decided to go for a drive in the country and visit a winery for some refreshments.

@Dutchy,
Hi, all! Just windin' down the day here. Hope y'all had a happy 'VD'! Wink
Iz-, wishin' you well, babe. You should be snug as a bug right now, I hope. You too, FQ!
Wishin' we could have that 75 degree weather here, Dutch-. Now that would make a nice Valentine's Day! Yer little video cracked me up - and the whole culcher conversation - what a hoot! Funny thing is, the art show we went to just happened to be inspirational art and was at a church! Laughing It was nice though. Went out for drinks after. Drunk Very Happy
Friend of ours had the coolest photo in it. Maybe I'll try to post it if I can. Couldn't describe it properly if I tried.
Ms. DeeDee good to hear from you!
Dj, thanks fer the flawers! Very Happy
mm, wow, what a sweetie you are!
Mis-, sorry about yer crazy day. Hate when that happens! Would have loved to 'wined' with you! You can come on up & see the snow any time!! I'd LOVE to send it to ya! - Wouldn't we, JP, Storm, dj? Oy!
Beth, loved the pic effect. It really is kinda relaxin!
Ooh, gotta go, the fam- is watchin' "Back to the Future"! What a blast from the past that is! And our whole family can actually watch it together.
Guess we're not watching "Somewhere in Time" ... My family was vacationing on Macinac Island where it was filmed when I was a little kid & we got to see Christopher Reeves eating at the restaurant in the Grand Hotel - oooh!
Toodles!

here's your dreamcatcher
http://www.peacefulmind.com/images/dreamcatcher.jpg

The Legend Of the Dream Catcher

The Ojibwa (Chippewa) believe that night is full of both good and bad dreams. When a dream catcher is hung above the place where you sleep it moves freely in the night air and catches the dreams as they drift by. The good dreams, knowing their way, pass through the opening in the center of the webbing while the bad dreams, not knowing the way, are caught in the webbing and destroyed at the first light of the morning sun.

There are many variants to the dream catcher legend, some which say both the good and bad dreams are captured and some which say the good dreams slide down the feather to those sleeping below. Although the Ojibwa are credited as the first people to use Dream Catchers many other Tribes and Native peoples have adopted Dream Catchers into their culture. Even though the designs and legends of Dream Catchers differ slightly, the underlying meaning and symbolism is universal and is carried across cultures and language barriers.

Everybody dreams.

@mismi,
mismi.. I hear ya with the getting ready, and I only have one kid going. My husband and I are always running in from work and right out again for evening practices, and games. Unfortunately we don't even start until the snow is gone and the mud dries up. ( you want snow? I'd love to send some your way). Last year we had so much snow it never melted till the end of April. I love baseball and I love spring, and I'm really itching for both right now. Keep us posted on how your boys are playing this year Very Happy

Glad the feet are behaving (more or less). Bummer about the throat, neck, and chest. Glad it's only temporary.

I'm not much of a yabberer (obvious), but I want to know how you are.

Your latest bird photos took my breath away. Stop doing that. I don't have that much breath to spare.

@Roberta,
Morning crew, Monday already, hope you all had a good weekend. Izzie how are you feeling today, improving a little?

Been wondering what's happened to Alex? Can you throw any light on the situation Dev, seeing that he lives in your part of the world?

@Roberta,
Good morning crew and captain. Sorry to hear about your throat, neck and chest. Let's hope they are right and it won't last long. Well, daughter has finished work in preparation for baby arriving (due at end of March but docs suggest they induce mid March because of her having such big bubs) so for the first time in six years no baby sitting of grandchildren - wow!! Back to some serious gardening and get my easel out and plenty of ladies days with mama and sis. Hubby has just announced he is going to retire (again - he did eight years ago and then went back three years ago to do some projects). He finishes at the end of this month. Change of life-style once again.

Hope everyone had a good St. Valentines. Weather is still being kind to the firefighters at the moment. We have some Americans and New Zealanders helping in the task.

Hugs to all.

OOps - Good morning Beagle - we posted at the same time.

Hi deedeexx, what are you going to do with all your spare time, now hubby is going to be home full-time? Smile

Another mild day here, hope you're getting the same, which will make the fire fighters task a little easier. Amazing those fires are still burning.

@deedeexx,
Hey y’all

Hope you’ve had good weekends

Sis " can I just move to Italy.... actually............ can I just move. Ahhhhhhhhh.... long lonely nites " I could be doing that somewhere else entirely right now (might as well not be here) and start over again somewhere "" how refreshing. I know.... get with the programme girl and suck it up! I’m looking to change my life..... before I fall down hugetime with what is here and smacking me one. But you know all that. Finally I agree with all you say.

Yay " Ireland won..... Stormy - they heard ya gal - thankeee.......now, there’s somewhere I could live - S.Ireland - beautiful. Though I do love my little house " a lot. It amazes me the cruelty and thoughtless of people at times who say they love you and are the closest thing to you " you know the “you’re my everything” -HA - b*llocks and saying it out loud" it wound me up so much today that I cut the puppet strings which kept me dangling on inexplicable and incomprehensible terms " I am still gobsmacked that pure love can hurt so bad " ack. Selfishness is overwhelming for some at the expense of others self worth " cruel at times " and a few minutes from my face and life. I understand now " it’s finally sunk in. Which makes me wish to leave everything and nothing here and bog off somewhere else. Hey ho " the sun will shine in the morning and I still prolly won’t see a soul. Little fella is here " he’s always up for a smile- except when we talk about G. G could not have hurt me more ever than he has done in the last week " not one word or acknowledgement that I exist. I do exist. I’m done. Gonna be creative with S-boy tomorrow " we’ll make something special. Scuse the kvetch " needed to say it out loud before I go dolally... or maybe I am.

Ah Boida - no worries about the yabbering (I just talk cr*p mostly - so nor worries) Toots are doing good " really doing FAB. Joints... not too bad (little iffy off an on but nothing to worry about at all) Chest/throat/neck " all doing MUCH better " just twinges. So medically " all is coco " thats a verra happy face. Glad you only have two ears too.... noive pain - the worst. Sorry.

Good onya Beth on the splurge " hey guess what " I found my Pink Panther sock a few weeks ago " so.... I’m keeping the pair - what else you got to swap! Bet you both had a good ‘ole chuckle today with BrendaLee . Excellent.

BEAgle... have emailed our Alex a few times" but no response. Terribly worried. Hard not to worry for someone so special as our Alex. Just so out of character to disappear. Love that fella. <sad..... verra sad> Praying...... well you know, how I do, that his absence is something real simple and he’ll be back soon with pickles and stories and tales of paddles and trips. I miss him badly.

Indeedee - good for hun " take the time to enjoy your lives together and keep us posted on how daughter is doing " she must be so excited " but exhausted with the heat. Such happy times for you to come. LOVE IT!

Love to hear all you happy tales crew. Now just waiting for the BlueFella to come back and regale up with complete and total baloney. Missing him heaps..... Blue Yooooooooooo Hooooooooo Tooooooooo Yoooooooooooo..... get the sheep in the fold and c’mon back to your crew. You have a bunch of chores to catch up.... and if you're good I will bake you a cake (now, never thought you would hear that a????) HA!

Thinking of y’all " Babbling, Mis, Dev,..... all our gals and wondergul deckhands " love you from the heart. x

@Izzie,
Hey Izzieliz - glad to hear the pain is easing but sorry for different kind of pain. Glad Ireland won for you. Never been there but hubby says it is very beautiful. Just went out to check on the geese and I have several tubs of water out there for them on the grass in the shade so they don't have to keep going down to the dam and when I went out there, there was a hawk having a good old splash around in one of the tubs. Sorry I disturbed him - he was beautiful. He wasn't big enough to take on the geese but the ducks were worried.
