G'day all. It's been a while.

Industry party Thursday after work, then spent time with brendalee yesterday and most of today. She's the chipperest (?) she's been in months. Good to see. Coming up on a sad anniversary for her, but she's doing well. We can have the most fun doing silly silly things.

I'll have to post a pic of the wonderfully silly hat I bought today while I was out with her. Don't even ask if I need another silly hat. Lovely old fella at the next table at lunch today was going on about the hat I was already wearing. His wife kept telling him to be quiet til we got the giggles and brendalee started chatting with him. Next thing you know, Mark and I are discussing politics, and brendalee and Pauline are discussing hair. After a bit of an exciting drive home in the snow, I asked some questions about the settings in brendalee's car, hmmmm pull out the manual ... oh brenda, you should be in C not S when the roads are like this. Phewwwww, it was a bit toooo exciting of a drive with the Mercedes in sport.

Oh Bethie..............it has been a while... how happy to see ya gal and to hear ya yabbering so fine. Glad BrendaLee is doing a little better - can just imagine you two choosing hats...... bit like FQsis and I looking at shooz.... she's just confessed to buying some nasty leopard skin million'inch heels shooz - HA! So good to hear your news! Now......... no more spinning wheels in the snow a????????

sadly, I just had to give up a pair (with red trim) to a co-worker as my feet just were not going to grown into them. so beautiful I had to buy them, but I couldn't actually walk in them, they were just that bit tooo big. the search starts again ...

HA.... you and FQ would make a fine pair going girl shopping. She said that she just had to get them... and even if she never wears them - at least she has them. She makes me laugh, my face is so sore from smiling too big - what a dillon....

Now, I can't wear hats - I have a pin head - if I put a hat on like that I would like a golf club with with furry wrapper. However, Tulip has hats like that, tho not fluffy, and she looks absolutely amazing (she pretty much looks good in anything tho!)

Scarves tho..... love a big fluffy scarf - my SIL gave me a purple mauve "fat face" one for my birthday (oh.... the one I'm wearing in my FB pic) - I wear that all the time - LOVE IT!

Other than that.... I don't do girl clothes (except on the moors with trainers - love a ballgown). Not a girl clothes girl! Hey ho. <ok - some girl clothes... you know the ones no-one sees.... oh... darn.... Sunday >


Now.... I have the biggest headhurt in the world. Woke up with it and couldn't drag myself out of bed. Terrible. It is easing a little now I've taken something...... but quiet on the decks please - I get cranky with headhurts.


The sun is shining and it's stunning outside - tho blooming brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. No signs of the snow here.... beautiful sunshine - think I will have to go for a hobble to the bottom of the garden and sit by the river for about 10 seconds.


I have a heap of paperwork to catch up on so I must try and do some of that - but will be popping on and off.

Well ......it's 47 days till Spring! Today, it's much warmer out (37 degrees) and you can almost taste it. Snow is melting. And in some areas, you can even see the deer wandering around again!






As for the big game today........



Just finished my homework and I am about to have some major goof-off time! Gonna see if there are any drifts left on the roads. Have a little fun. We were under a level 2 snow emergency last night. Downgraded to a level 1 today. So, who knows!
