Keeping reply til a hamster stops me.......... and the laptop spontaneously combusts.... bloody thing! Had so much to say tonite and glad I had excellent distraction.

Did wanna say I posted my every thought earlier .... then I deleted it as I can't say it loud to anyone... only to me. Funny how things seems to be! Lots of heart hurts going on right now for a number of folk... some of us are a little louder than others.... some never complain or whinge or whine...

i don't know how well they work, but you can get cooling trays for laptops, the laptop sits on top and there's extra fans in the base to draw heat away from the comp, a lot of them run off a usb port

I say a bunch of stuff - but not all of it. Struggles each day for different reasons and the internet can be so miscommunicated too - which is pants.........

however, I gotta stop thinking the worst on one situation and hope that everything gets back to the way it was... should be... will be.

really.................. oh gotta look into that... I have to hold the thing in the air til it cools down or my legs burn.... have had it sat on top of a tray.... wood... balanced on stuff..... you can hear the fan whirring away and then it just dies.... try and switch it on........ nothing............ then..... 10 mins later or so..... no probs. ALWAYS in firefox tho... ALWAYS. have reinstalled firefox, got Norton 260 going so no nasties in the laptop... it's just HOT HOT HOT.... drives me nuts. Will look into that.... last time they changed the motherboard.... had same problem, replaced the laptop for this one as they couldn't switch the other one at the shop and now........... same with this.... I'm sure it shouldn't overheat this badly.

I gotta get it sorted. Surgery in two weeks. Can you imagine how cranky I will be if I dont have a laptop! OMG...... it doesn't bear thinking about - I know I couldn't cope without being here or on the internet.

Now how sad does that truly make my life sound Yep... pretty sad a? I gotta get a life. ACK!

the fact that it's run off a usb port is good too, makes it very portable
