Well, how sweet of the prof., but watch out! First they make ya dinner & the next thing ya know, yer married with kids!
Yeah, we're calling the doc for an appointment tomorrow. And of course, the sore throat wasn't mentioned until after office hours! Poor guy.
Hey, where's DeeDee? What did I miss?
Hugs! Glad you're going back to the couch. You rest now, ya hear?!

@mismi,
Dev - hope Thing recovers soon babe.... got enjoy the party! Hugs gal x
Hey crew...
OK... I'm off on a ramble so this is just one of those "ignore me posts", "just let me ramble" post..... meds and all that - am a little doolally today but I need to say it out loud...
sometimes things just go all weird and strange and ... nothing seems to make sense any longer and you want it to - and you do what you think is the right thing, but then for some reason it just doesn't register, and it becomes so frustrating because that worries you even more because there is absolutely nothing you can the do about it - and it you don't know if it's lost and gone or finds a way thru - or is that just me... you know when you feel really wanna try and have to communicate something - and it just doesn't seem to get thru - it chews it up and spits it out, so you try and figure another way of going about it
I got one of those days going on. Hamsters spinning on the wheel.
Anyhoooooooooooo... then I listened to this song from awhile back - and tho something is weird and strange - this still makes me smile. EVERYTIME.
"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"
Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")
Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"
Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou:"
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!"
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!
"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no!
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! /fadeout/
so.... I'm hugging my black Kitty Cat who already understands me... and maybe tomorrow things will make a little more sense.
OK - I'm a TWONK - I know it so that is reassuring - 'cause everything little thing will be alright. IT HAS TO BE. It has to be figured.
I love you all.... have the OT coming to visit in the morning.... more gadgets for after surgery (the indignities of it all....ack)
S-boy is good - at school tonite. Rboy conducted his OWN Looked After Child meeting yesterday - he requested I didn't attend - HE DID FANTASTICALLY WELL.... they LOVED HIM.... he wishes to stay where he is and has made it clear... and politely. I think my little BigBoy is growing up - he couldn't take care of himself in the real world - but he is learning about life a little - still no education. Still black and white with him - but I am so proud (other than he wants me only when he needs me to put on a suit of armour - but that is coco.) So - both boys doing well. No worries there.
Anyhoo... tho my weird and strange will hopefully resolve soon - right now... Ima spinning like the cycle weeks in Down Under.
Still - you all know - love you, wouldn't ever do anything to hurt a one of ya. Trust... big thing that. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Well we've have seen the great man cycle past, lots of people and lots of enthusiasm. Amazing the interest Armstrong has created in this State, he is a cancer survivor, and that is his theme. Wherever he goes he is spreading the word about cancer awareness, he's been in town for almost a fortnight and millions of dollars have been raised for the cause. He is such a genuine unassuming guy and everybody loves him.
Dev stated " Well, how sweet of the prof., but watch out! First they make ya dinner & the next thing ya know, yer married with kids!" All I can say is, it takes two to the tango!
Izzie great to hear the news about the boys, now have an early night for a change, try to have a good nights rest, and don't worry things will fall into place tomorrow. Hugs xox
Mismi, same goes for you, give that couch a good work out and make the Professor spoil you a little. Hugs xox
Feeling somewhat down, ddxx is about to thrash me in jinky-pop again, why do I always run into such smart women around here.
Dearest Izzie, fellow night owl, so sorry you are troubled and feel so much concern for you. I hope it all unravels soon. Know we are all here and love you. But thanks for posting the crew anthem again. I just love it, too - and you know how I need to hear those words at the moment, with a dreaded date fast approaching. I'm coping xxx
Hi all - Iz-, Dutch, wv, ...
Oh, Iz-, we're here for you, always, TWONKY or not! Good theme song! Will be thinking of you & therapy tomorrow. So glad S-boy is doing well and that R-boy is growing up. You're a good mum.
Dutch-, I was jus' bein' silly. Mis- & I were on facebook earlier so you didn't get the full conversation. Are you on there yet?
wv! So good to see you about. Are you well? Oh, and "every little thing will be alright"
A date, huh? Sorry it's dread, but do tell!
Hi to all. Horrible, horrible day here. Hot and very strong winds - extreme fire danger. Can't do anything about it and feel quite helpless - but keep scouring the skies and smelling for smoke. Fires are burning on the other side of Melbourne (both deliberately lit - ars*****s) but so far clear here.
Cheer up ddxx, cool change on the way, hit us about midday, quitte overcast and down to a mere 20 odd degrees. Hope you're spared the angst of a bush fire, even though you're burning in J/P.
Just poured myself a drink and taken time to read back all the posts. Dev sorry to hear Thing2 has a bad throat. Missy - what a dear Proff is cooking dinner - I don't think my hubby has ever done that!!Izzieliz - glad to hear both boys doing well. Hugs girlie ((Izzie)) Beagle - I hope you are right about the cool change - can't come soon enough. WV - why a "dreaded" date?? Hugs to all the crew especially Try - you always make me laugh!!
Hi dear Izzie, what's bothering you to make your heart hurting, thinking of good times gone by? Let me tell you a little joke about when it comes to marriage, may put a smile on your face.
Husband (a doctor) and his wife are having a fight at the breakfast table.
Husband gets up in a rage and says, 'And you are no
good in bed either,' and storms out of the house.
After some time he realizes he was nasty and
decides to make amends and rings her up.
She comes to the phone after many rings, and the irritated husband says,
'What took you so long to answer to the phone?'
She says, 'I was in bed.'
'In bed this early, doing what?'
'Getting a second opinion!'
(YEP, HE HAD THAT COMING, TOO!)
)) LOL gud one BEAgle..nd btw thnx for ur consistent visits & comments & words of encouragement n ma blog.
Izzieeee...how r u?? hugs to u frm far (((((izzieeee))))))
Try - lol that sure was a poem eby would have loved hearing from me ;P

@Izzie,
Well, Thing 2 went to school today. It's only a half day, but making a doc's appointment anyway.
Mis-, hope you continue to feel better, hunny.
wv, hope your day AND day go splendidly!
Thinking of you, Dutch- & DeeDee. Keep safe. No danger of fire right where you are, I hope?
Iz-, feelin' for you. Wish I could take the head pain as well as the heart. Is it physical or maybe psychological? You know the counselor in me had to ask!
verb- Oh, that dinner sounds fab. And I love a good 'sex on the beach' (no comments from the "peanut gallery" here!
Was that your anniversary dinner?
Hugs to all - given & received at will!
Wondering how our Brooke-y is & other "MIA's" Thinking of you & missing ya. Come back to the ship. We're over here!
Hello there crew! Had a nice long sleep and am cleaning the house today.
My doggy got out and was quite vicious yesterday evening...that is unusual for him...had a kid and his dog pinned against the fence...I am having to keep him in with me today...and the Biscuit - she gets to stay in as well. Hopefully that little boy won't tell on us...especially since Pistol jumped the fence.
Thanks Dev, Izzie and Dutchy...we'll see what I accomplish with those doggies underfoot...maybe not even a nap! Dadgummit.

must be the day for animal stories, woke up this morning to find a mess of feathers and blood on the porch, we've got a couple of feral cats in the neighbourhood, and they get a dove every once in awhile, mostly right on the porch
i've got a slingshot and a handy pile of small stones by the front door
i haven't seen the one cat lately, it had been looking really rough latley and i think the dangerously cold weather might have done it in, sad i guess but they really are a pain
My kitty used to leave me presents like that dj...nice little chimpmunks or birds...but he has gotten old and arthritic...He is inside too...it's a friggin zoo in here!
