Just saying hi. I am toooo tired to post much today. Hope everyone getting the below zero, snow and ice are staying warm. I remember living in a place in northern British Columbia for a year where it got to minus 45 C one winter. You can't breathe when it's that cold! We are getting fogged out here on the coast, day after day of whiteout. Blah.

crap and crap ... my ankle tendon has gone bleugh.... in fact... I think I am about to flare - was perfectly fine thismorno..... thisavo I was in pickle. Tonite I am barely able to move - lots of joints swelling up... so crap and crap. Cannot walk well at all. Darn ankle is f agonising!

The positive is... the OT came.... oooooooooooooooooooooooooh - she brought me gadgets. I have little gadgets - they are wonderful... pully thingys for the plugs and things to open things with and this unbelievable clever knife that looks like a saw.... and and and... well, she was such a help. I cannot believe how much she is trying to help me - just amazing!

She filled in some forms for me coz I can't write - she's just brilliant

AND

the man about the grant for the boiler came and said that the house should have cavity wall insulation and more loft insulation and they will fix the boiler.... it all seems a bit too good to be true - but....

at lunchtime, I saw a penny.... and I picked it up....


THEN

the phone rang and the Young Carers are trying to organise for S-boy to go out a little more regularly with other carers - which would be fab for him!

AND

I got a new toy - which I have had a few days but didn't have the guts to open so I just kept it by the door and touched the box each time I walked past - so then I spoke to Tulip who said it was fine for me to open it and quit feeling guilty (which I am) and that....... well.... long and short - I got a new camera - a Sony DSLR - and I'm looking forward to playing with it. The fact I can't actually hold the darn thing properly right now coz my hands are sh!te is by the by - I will be able to and I'm pretty excited about it. <guilt won't go..... but hey ho - no, no regrets, musn't do that - it's done - now I opened it, can't take it back>

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO even tho the bloody pain is dammit crippling me tonite and the "heavy duties" are required - my head feels pretty good!
