@Dutchy,
Beagle, I'll keep my -30 C. I'm not a fan of hot weather, can barely stand warm weather.

At least if it's cold, you can put more clothes on. If it's hot ... once you're nekkid, there's no more clothes to take off.

@ehBeth,
Heat is not to bad EhBeth and Rockhead it is a very dry heat and easy to bear. Inside with the A/C on it is a comfortable 70 degrees, no need to go 'nekkid'. Envious of your ice though ehBeth, in my youth I was a speed skater and your pictures brought back many memories.

@Dutchy,
ok...kind attention please..here is this situation at my workplace...is it hilarious, bleak, weird or heights of joblessness - you have to tell me. Will you call it normal? at any cost?

well let me xplain in detail..

It is sort of cold climate here..chill atleast for me. And as a person who drinks a lot of water I do frequent the loo. But guess who just made me notice that? My TL and more so a 'guy'. And how?? he keeps telling my peers it seems that I go to the loo quite often!!! (which is at the most 4 times in 10hrs!)

Now a guy..worst of all someone who is in the post of a Team Leader is actually sitting and counting the number of times I pee!!

Should i actually be blessed that im watched and adored to this extent ;P

Should i feel sad that the 'jobless' situation in my office has gone to this extent that my TL is doing "this"?? Wink

or..should i actually give him some sort of counselling for his habit of sitting and staring at the Loo or rather girls visiting the loo Wink

@verbivore,
Oh verbivore you have such a wonderful sense of humour putting your point across, you had my in stitches. I must say though your T.L is taking things a little to far I feel, he certainly wouldn't get away with it here as the ladies would soon sort him out and charge him with harassment! If nature calls so be it, none of his business, surely he can make his time more productive. Pretty sad situation really. May be you should tell him to stop looking at the girls going to the loo as he obviously gets a perverted kick out of it. Smile

@mismi,
Hey Mismi

You keep warm, plenty of layers!

I think my ex is playing mind games and that is really not doing me any good. Think I will tell him so.

Son been home today as he didn't feel well last night but he seems well now so will go to school tomorrow. Well the for sale sign is up just waiting now. Will let you know if anything happens! I just hope it is sooner rather than later and we don't lose the place we want.

Beagle hope you are well and keeping warm and snug.

Izzie hope all ok. Speak soon.

JustBrooke hope you are looking after yourself.

Have a good evening allX

@annis,
Evening Tulip, nice to see you, hope your wish comes through and house sells quickly. Keeping well thanks but to warm at the moment.

Raging bush fires out of control where my son lives, with the temperature reaching 45 degrees (113) and strong northerly winds straight from the desert it caused havoc.

Unfortunately my son's fishing business was right in the middle of it and sustained severe damage. Waiting anxiously for further details. Thank goodness no loss of lives or injuries like 4 years ago when 9 lives were lost in the same area.

@djjd62,
Beagle, sorry to hear of son's business. I have actually just sent you an e-mail enquiring re the fires. I am on tenterhooks here too although all quiet so far. These days are a real worry especially if we get the strong winds also. Verby - looks like you need some hugs girlie. ((verby)) & yes I agree he sounds like a pervert and letting his TL authority go to his head.
