Hi verbivore nice to have your company, hope all is well with you and you have found peace again after the upheaval in Mumbai. We see a lot of that city on our TV screens presently, hope it is a once only incident.

Can never read the minds of terrorists! As obama put it - "its hard to penetrate through minds that find such serene satisfaction to kill"!
However now everything is calm and under cover..The wound, the anger, the sorrow, the shame.. Dunno what will next trigger it.
Bangalore is much ok..and peaceful as of now except for all those threats by sms and malls..
Otherwise we are completely ok..have been watching quite a few movies these days the latest being the 'the green miles' by Frank Darabont (the director of 'shawshank redemption' )his wife's ex..had been to Bangalore and was there to train Eby. loved the movie!!
They had dinner together and he has returned last week..A down to earth fella..Eby says

Oh you like crime/drama movies eh, and a Tom Hanks fan. Dealt with that all my life hence these days I only go for comedy. The only 'film' person I ever met was Bill Haley (Rock around the Clock) when he toured Australia many moons ago, on the same program were 'The Platters', after the concert they mingled freely with the crowd. Can't see the Rolling Stones doing that.

Oh..dont tell me you had to witness executions!! Oh its such a sad stuff!!
Tom Hanks is really gifted.. The emotions and reactions in his face..he kind of underplays and captures you I guess. Also like Mel Gibson nd will smith..perhaps its due to the limited movies i got to see. But we do try and cover. Lil by lil u knw..I love comedy too ;P

Not that dramatic verbivore, no death penalty or floggings in Australia! The next movie I'm going to see is called 'Australia', starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Buz Luhrman is the director. It has just premiered in our local theatres and has had good reviews. As the title suggests it is filmed locally.

Hey Dutchy and Verby - I want to see that movie Dutchy - several I have been wanting to see - that one with Brad Pitt, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Valkyrie" with Tom Cruise...think they are going to be interesting movies.

I am going to be cleaning and decorating today. I told the boys we would have the tree ready to decorate tonight...so I must do so!

Verby - I love the Green Mile. Such a great story line. And the movie is so GOOD!

Well - I am off...I have to go do my library duty at school then home to clean...I will try to get back on at lunchtime.

Well...that was mild. As I was blowing off the driveway - with the ELECTRIC BLOWER - I was thinking I should have rephrased it. Something like I am going to go clear the driveway - or de-leaf the driveway....because I thought some smartass might have something to say..... and yes...my lungs are great.

Good morning crew. Great photos Izzieliz - you really have a gift there. Just put up our tree and decorations Missy and guests start arriving from next Friday. I have in-laws coming and son-in-laws parents from Sydney and will have 11 adults and 3 children for sit down Xmas lunch with other guests calling in during the day. Have to start getting everything in order. Going to be busy.

Morning ddxx, lovely warm day here, already a week today since we enjoyed that nice lunch, time seems to fly as we approach Christmas.

Work (school) breaks up on the 19th..... but S-boy breaks up this week... not sure what I'm going to do - prolly take him to work with me. Kids are doing their performance of "OLIVER" on Thursday - should be FANTASTIC. I shall be there a chief video person and no doubt singing along.
