Oh verbivore if you only knew what I have in store for ddxx, a nice restaurant near the sea with the finest seafood on offer, I know she likes that and so do I for that matter. Additionally she can pick a bottle of her favourite Chardonnay and we shall drink a toast to all the 'yabber-liner' crew.

Good Afternoon crew...

OMG! What a day, what a day!

COOOOOOLD!!! Verra cold. Driving to work... big long hill.... 4WD in front of me.... I’m tootling along about 40mph on the main road.... fine one second.... then lost complete control of the car.... black ice, spinning and all over the road... heart in throat.... 4WD in front saw me spinning and was ever so very kind and stopped up ahead.... shaken and stirred.... OMG, what a start to the day. Got to work " 3 parents with kids had been in near collisions - of course, all of us are alright " just scaaaaaaaaaaaaary!!!! I’ve never had a proper accident or lost complete control of a car before.... talk about someone watching over " it’s a very fast main road and I’m only normally on it for 2-3 mins ‘til I hit the backroads, I was so darn lucky no-one was coming the other way.... jjjeeeeeeeeeeez!

Then.... at work..... ice everywhere, kids aren’t allowed out on the playground, staff salted and gritted everything, then one accident after another, kids sliding on the salt (kinda like gravel) " then, little C-girl, ball in face, knocks out her tooth, finds tooth, puts in milk, call parent " meanwhile, I had a todoooo with the photocopier and snapped a piece off, call engineer, then, the council (pffffftstststsft) won’t send out the ratman to get rid of Roland Rat who has decided to take up residence under the portable classroom hut " so called the Pied Piper and they are coming tomorrow..... , something nasty going on in the girls toilets " nasty smell, caretaker notified - oh so verra busy at work..... get home and just had one of the moments when I think, gosh, it’s a GOOD day today!!!!! As I opened my door I just couldn’t stop smiling! That’s a nice feeling. You have no idea how good a feeling.

So..... other than having a bad hair day and asking my neighbour if she will chop it all off today.... I’m happy to report in.

Hope everyone is feeling as blessed as I am today.
