@mismi,
Posting something I did a few days ago, a little earlier as I may not be able to post later.... wishing everyone in the US a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. Love you all and hoping you will have the best day.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, at the end of the harvest season, is an annual American Federal holiday to express thanks for one's material and spiritual possessions. The period from Thanksgiving Day to New Year's Day often is called the holiday season. Most people celebrate by gathering at home with family or friends for a holiday feast. Though the holiday's origins can be traced to harvest festivals that have been celebrated in many cultures since ancient times[citation needed], the American holiday has religious undertones related to the deliverance of the English settlers by Native Americans after the brutal winter at Plymouth, Massachusetts.

So as we all join hands to wish our American crew Happy Thanskving...

@Izzie,
G'day/ morning/evening to the crew.

Cap'n Izz, that's quite a beautiful festive offering you've put together. You're quite the gal.

I hope we hear from Verbivore soon, and that she and her loved ones are all safe.

@ehBeth,
hi there..so thoughtful of u..izzie and ehbeth ..im fine..
just that loneliness crept into like nothing else..old days came by and haunted me. they were teasing and i like a child tried to grab it back, stubbornly.
I lost my mom when I was 8..never remember crying like a baby once i grew up! I dont know for what yesterday her memories surged like nothing. The way she used to wait for me when im back from school. The way she used to prepare those dishes. We fry rice flours with a lil masala in it and often the oil in the pan props up during the preparation. Time took me there when she used to prepare them for me with loud complains.
There was another one wherein she would crush til seeds (sesame i guess) with jaggery and coconut. She did it manually in a stone grind as she believed it comes out perfect.
It welled up in me till i left the office all the goo memories..and once i left it burst open and i found myself weeping with no control in the bus.

I have this problem of interacting with people! I just cant. That brought loneliness and that inturn memories I guess. i just cant jovially join a group or be confident. that makes me very lonely here..

I go that extra mile for friends but somehow gaining them seems difficult inside my cave. Im scared to talk lest im ridiculed..im scared to ask for a company lest im denied..

ive messed up some niice mornings of some of u.... but i just wanted to pour down!!

@verbivore,
Dear verbivore I guesss we wanted to know if you're safe from the present happenings in your Country?
Feel free to talk openly here, you are amongst friends and we all support you, you're one of us!
Lettings your feelings get the better of you is good, no shame to have a little cry, much better than bottling it all up. I'm a man but don't mind admitting I sometimes have a tear in my eye when I think of a lost close one.
Talk as much as you like, you won't be ridiculed here I assure, the Beagle won't let it happen. Smile
Enjoy the rest of your day.

@Dutchy,
The terrorist attack is restricted to Mumbai. Its terrible. But now that Im in south Im safe ..and so is my family. My friends say their places too are far from the exact location where the terroists have attacked. the photos are so scary..my heart goes out to my friends there. Worse they are targetting americans and britains - a brit reported coz they let go of an Italian. I dont know...its still going on and the police have sought the help of military in the issue..

@verbivore,
Hi Verby,

Hey, you say you can't interact with people - but that's just what you are doing here. And very well. Glad that you and yours are safe and you pour down any time you want. That is the one great thing about this crew they are always there for you. Hugs Verby.
