@annis,
Magic stuff annis, I love Greek dancing. This is how Zorba the Greek is performed by our Aboriginals in the heart of Australia. Enjoy Laughing

@mismi,
As my Mum said " if she knew it was so much hard work! And it never seems to end!" She is nearly 76 going on 20! Her motto is men should used like the Amazonian women used men, Sex and the occasional DIY ! Laughing But we all love our children, did we know at the time that it would cause so much heartache and challenges! No, so we all did it! X

@annis,
Good morning Missy, Tulip and Beagle. Cracked up at both Aboriginal and Bean zorbas. I don't know who was more elastic - mr. bean or the centre guy in the aboriginal line up with the blue lioncloth. Laughing

@annis,
Good afternoon crewmates!

We need to keep this place looking good for the cap'n.

So we need to divvy up the chores. I see that there's a fierce battle for the entertainment committee, so I'll take charge of bringing in a cleaning crew.

Just passing an internet café so I took the opportunity to call by to say; good afternoon to ya’ll and hoping Izzie and all of you are getting by the right side of good.

Sheesh! “What is a water butt?”

Thank you Dutchy, at last you have put this butt business to bed; let’s just get over it and move on to home grown produce such as melons!
Speaking of which reminds me of when…

Missi and I were sitting on a park bench outside the local town hall where a flower show was in progress.

I leaned over and said, "Life is so boring. We never have fun anymore.”

Missi said, “For $5.00 I'd take my clothes off right now and streak through that stupid flower show!"

"You're on!" I said holding up a $5.00 bill.

As fast as she could Missi was her way out of her clothes and, completely naked, streaked through the front door of the flower show.

Waiting outside, I soon heard a huge commotion inside the hall, followed by loud applause. Missi then burst out through the door surrounded by a cheering crowd.

"What happened?" I asked.
"Why, I won first prize for Best Pear Arrangement."

I am quite partial to a nice firm pear!

If I could only grow green stuff in my garden like I can in my refrigerator; meanwhile: Grow your own dope........Plant a man!

@Dutchy,
He did not. Oh Try and Dutchy - how you do make me smile. I need to laugh - and I have. I will let you think what you wish about my "pear" arrangement. Wink ((Dutchy)) ((Try))

Well, I have almost used all my words for the day already. Didn't I hear somewhere that we only use so many a day? I feel like if I am any more "verbal" today I will be abusing the language. Good Lord, what a morning. Breathing - it will be fine....me and two of my children were mighty cranky. I am trying to readjust my attitude. Hope the two other boys do as well. Yuck.

Iz and the rest of the crew - you are in my thoughts today.
Hugs to you all.

G’day Dutchy mate; picture! Sorry, no can do dude. However, I do have a Xerox of two squashed melons if that’s any good.

Besides that was all in out college days; btw, did I ever tell you how much Missy had the hots for me back in those days?

She was so concerned about me catching a late bus home that she would go to the trouble to wire the doorbell to the mains so when I called I would be sure to get a ride home in an ambulance.

Then there was the time I snuck into her back yard and she thoughtfully let the dogs out to play with me " I was only in hospital for six weeks and every time she came to visit she would always find the time to turn the ventilator off so I could get a good nights sleep with out all that beeping.

I sure learned my lesson so I avoided both the back and front I climbed up the down pipe to the roof one bitterly cold Halloween and ever considerate she set the attic alight just to stop me freezing. And boy was she free with the compliments when I was all swaddled in bandages; why, she even said I looked better than a sack full of hammers.

I expect that by now Dutchy you’re getting mighty jealous, so let me finish by saying Missy is still as sweet on me as ever because knowing I have a bit of a cold she has sent round a tin of…the label is all scratched but it looks like; ‘Zappit’ stops all know pests dead in there tracks... Well, if is recommended by the railroad it must be good!

Only problem is; in her handwritten note it says, “Take two teaspoons full”.

She is a sweetie; but she should know I don’t drink tea, I only have coffee spoons! I guess its just aspirins for me.

To all the crew; may the good fairy sprinkle stardust on your bippy!
And your problems be overwhelmed by your good fortune. Parting is such sweet sorrow…

Dutchy

@Tryagain,
Tryagain how nice of you to drop in but please no more "kiss and tell" stories about mismi, btw why did you ask me this, "What did one saggy squashed melon say to the other saggy squashed melon? If we don't get some support soon, people are going to think we're nuts." in an e-mail? Trying to tell me something?
Took Mrs.D for lunch yesterday in the big city which was very enjoyable, later made a 'donation' of $25.00 to the Casino. Smile
Today, it will be cutting lawns for myself and neighbour, the latter always rewards me with a cappuccino and home made cake, looking forward to that.
Hope you all had a good day.
