Missy " did ya a Sunday’avo sleep? Hoping all is good with the boys and the dawgs are behaving! Bet you’re really looking forward to your weekend away " know you will have a fab time. X
So... today.... aye aye aye aye aye aye
I have been
It. Was. So. Cold. I.froze.my.bahookie.off. (joints are complaining wickedly!)
Anyhoo.... BigBoy is 48 hours fishing (which has led to a 3 hour email tirade on my part to Social Services who want to call the police because he is not on “contact” " twits, idiots, pffffffffffffffffffffsssssstttst)
However, it was lovely down there.... cold... autumnal.... but lovely
He hasn’t had a bite! BUT.... Norman has..... Norman is the fishery cat " Norman got into the bag and snaffled R’s chicken! The men, Pugwash and Alan stood there chuckling away and when R came out of the hut said “Norman ate your breasts”.... mmmm..... lots of guffaws all around.
Mike... who according to R is the equivalent to the fishery drug baron " “he can get you anything you could ever want Mom” in fishing terms.... of course “you should see the ‘lures’ he can get” (seriously, that’s exactly what he said, did make me laugh " he was so animated when he was telling me the story!) .... anyhoo.... Mike popped along and showed R something very special.... and R put his hand in his pocket and bought his Mom a prize.....
LOOKY HERE
A tripod! How wonderful is that? A tripod for my camera. Now, Mike the fishy DB (drug baron, dog’s b*llocks) charged him .....
Wait for it.....
50p
Yep......... 50p!!!!! R was so chuffed. He said “my mom could use that”
Now, how brilliant is that? A? a? a? a?
Which then reminded me of what the little fella found yesterday " he photographed this.......
This is a 2006 50p which commemorated the Victoria Cross. It’s a solider carrying wounded comrade " an heroic act for which the Victoria Cross is awarded.
The first 50p, designed by British Royal Mint engraver Claire Aldridge, features the Victoria Cross itself and the date of its institution, 29 January 1856.
You know... I had never even noticed that before. Little fella was awed by it and is keeping the 50p.
BLUE..... but ... but ... but... but..... bruhahaha Spuckler! TWONK!
There’s you talking wooden nickels and there’s me talking 50p soldiers! Coco!
Finally.... word from up London way....K is doing well " nasty bruising, tired and.... well..... all I can say is: my sis ‘aint called Florence and it’s a good job K isn’t a horse! ‘Nuff said! Love my sis and bro! <laughs>
Wishing all a great week.
Smooches
