@annis,
Boot fair? help ... what is that please?

Dutchy, if you grab some of djjd's mushrooms, you'd have the fixing's of an awfully nice meal with those red cabbages. And mebbe we could make some pumpkin cheesecake from Alex's offerings ... and roasted pumpkin seeds of course!

@mismi,
Hi mismi, we haven't caught up for a while, hope you, the Professor and boys are well. I know what you mean by Sunday business, bless you.
EhBeth your diet ideas sound very appetising.

@Dutchy,
We are all well now Dutchy - thanks for asking. If I get all technical about it Dutchy it could be considered round 3 - we had Church this am - round 1 - then baseball games (round 2) - all three played at 1:00pm - the prof went one way with G-baby and I took the twins the other way. They played great - beautiful day to be out watching baseball. Nice and cool, but it was beautiful outside. A pleasure to be sitting in the bleachers. Now we have choir practice (round 3). It will slow down soon. One more weekend of ballgames and we are finished.

Your yard sure is neat Dutchy. Between three boys and two dogs - our is - well...a mess. Maybe I can get out there soon and work in it a bit...we shall see.

How's Mrs. Dutchy doing?

@mismi,
Looks like you had a pretty full day all around mismi, so did we for that matter. Our son and family stayed with us for a couple of days before travelling home after a holiday in Thailand. Won't see them until Christmas now. Mrs.Dutchy is doing fine thanks, completely recovered from that nasty bug. Love pottering in the garden mismi, keeps me off the streets and out of mischief. Smile

@Tryagain,
Hey Crew....

Oh my....

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/pumpkins.jpg

Indeedeeeeeeeee.... oh I’ve missed you. I’m glad all is k with you and yours " busy is good but hope you and hubby are able to have some quiet time too. What’s MaMa’s viewing lately " are we still on Sex and The City... ??? Hugs to you girlie x

Missy " did ya a Sunday’avo sleep? Hoping all is good with the boys and the dawgs are behaving! Bet you’re really looking forward to your weekend away " know you will have a fab time. X

So... today.... aye aye aye aye aye aye

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1070561.jpg

I have been

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1070555.jpg

It. Was. So. Cold. I.froze.my.bahookie.off. (joints are complaining wickedly!)

Anyhoo.... BigBoy is 48 hours fishing (which has led to a 3 hour email tirade on my part to Social Services who want to call the police because he is not on “contact” " twits, idiots, pffffffffffffffffffffsssssstttst)

However, it was lovely down there.... cold... autumnal.... but lovely

He hasn’t had a bite! BUT.... Norman has..... Norman is the fishery cat " Norman got into the bag and snaffled R’s chicken! The men, Pugwash and Alan stood there chuckling away and when R came out of the hut said “Norman ate your breasts”.... mmmm..... lots of guffaws all around.

Mike... who according to R is the equivalent to the fishery drug baron " “he can get you anything you could ever want Mom” in fishing terms.... of course “you should see the ‘lures’ he can get” (seriously, that’s exactly what he said, did make me laugh " he was so animated when he was telling me the story!) .... anyhoo.... Mike popped along and showed R something very special.... and R put his hand in his pocket and bought his Mom a prize.....

LOOKY HERE

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1070569.jpg

A tripod! How wonderful is that? A tripod for my camera. Now, Mike the fishy DB (drug baron, dog’s b*llocks) charged him .....

Wait for it.....

50p

Yep......... 50p!!!!! R was so chuffed. He said “my mom could use that”

Now, how brilliant is that? A? a? a? a?

Which then reminded me of what the little fella found yesterday " he photographed this.......

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1070458.jpg

This is a 2006 50p which commemorated the Victoria Cross. It’s a solider carrying wounded comrade " an heroic act for which the Victoria Cross is awarded.
The first 50p, designed by British Royal Mint engraver Claire Aldridge, features the Victoria Cross itself and the date of its institution, 29 January 1856.

You know... I had never even noticed that before. Little fella was awed by it and is keeping the 50p.

BLUE..... but ... but ... but... but..... bruhahaha Spuckler! TWONK!
There’s you talking wooden nickels and there’s me talking 50p soldiers! Coco!

Finally.... word from up London way....K is doing well " nasty bruising, tired and.... well..... all I can say is: my sis ‘aint called Florence and it’s a good job K isn’t a horse! ‘Nuff said! Love my sis and bro! <laughs>

Wishing all a great week.

Smooches

@mismi,
good morning all - glad to see everyone chirpy and for the most well. Bit brisk here this morning after beautiful weekend. No babysitting today so going to take mama for a little "flutter" at the pokies and then off to do drudge shopping for weekly supplies. Izzieliz - mama and I are working thru "Friends" now - (and we watched movie "Sex and City" over the weekend). I have seen "Friends" before but she is really enjoying. Almost thru and then maybe ER. Luved the photos being posted. Nice to see a little bit of everyone's lives. Yabber later. ((xx))

@mismi,
GOSH.... all that yabbering - love it!

BLUE - I pictured every last of bit of that! Shhhheeesh... I so need to get a life! You have enough yarn for a dozen sweaters! <steady!>

Bethie.... boot sale is... well, exactly that... but not down 'ere. Confused. Well, you put all the bibs and bobs you want to sell in the car boot and go off to a car park or market on a Sunday morning to sell said wares. However, Tulip went to one of the larger market towns, so she had to trundle the stuff out of the boot and onto a table in the cattle market. It is freezing in there - but the kids love it. Tulip - you are a saint!!!!!!!!! Kids had a wonderful time at the carnival. S-boy and F-boy spent the day together with S-boys dad - the kids went into town and met up with my nephew in the part.... ahhhhhhhh... they are growing up so fast. S-boy is all better now, playing rugby and covered in bruises. <ack> Loved your pics Beth - even tho I loved the colours in the last one, my fave trees one was the one with the trees standing to attention in different coloured uniforms. They look rather majestic. FAB!

Tulip - thanku - got the text earlier on - boys on the hi-rider - OH MY - I woulda felt sick even just watching them. S-boy was so happy when I saw him this morning. Thanku. See ya soon x

Missy - oh, another busy day for you girlie - good for you - hope you and the Professor have some cuddle time tonite, maybe a movie and a glass of vino. x

BEAgle.... lemons for the G&T!!!!!! Can't wait to see if Olive bears!!!!

Loving y'all x

So very happy to see so many of you here..... rest of crew... thinking of you too. Dev... are you feeling better... and hubby?

Well, back to the butt; you know how it is, after a while it tends to need a bit of loving care and attention and it doesn’t quite perform how you would like, but first I had to roll it gently over so I could get to the end. Anyway, I was gonna just use a soapy sponge, but then I thought what the heck, why not give it a good going over with something a little stiffer.

Shocked That is so ummmm......X rated! Mr. Green ( at least to my naughty brain)
Good to see ya, Try! You loveable ole' goof, you!

A big HEY to everyone else. I'm kinda lost as to what's happening. Need to read back. WAY back!

@deedeexx,
Oh...brill... Indeedee is here too...

We love Friends.... S-boy watches every nite - it's his favourite show and he has borrowed the series of DVD.... makes me laugh so much... he is JUST getting some of double entendres!!!!! Highly amusing questions - the lastest involving Joey and the acting part of a man who could not be circumcised.... with Monica making a foreskin out of luncheon meat. Yep - explain that one to an 11 year old!

Oh Mis.... you have all this journey to come. Shocked

@Izzie,
FQ …. SO glad all turned out well with your hubby! Big hugs for him!

I see Beth and Set’s doggies made it onboard. Sweet looking poochies. The darker colored one reminds me of a dog I had growing up. Her name was Cuddles.

Dev ……. I got your email. Thank you for those links! Loved em’. I will let you know when I send out that “thing” we were talking about. Probably be in November. But I will let you know, so you can be looking out for it!

Dutchy ……. Good to see into your world again. HOWEVER…..I’m jealous! Your weather is getting warm and mine is getting cold! Though I do love the fall. So pretty out.

Izzy ……. You seem so bubbly today! I love it!

Alex …… Nice lookin’ pumpkins!

Beth, JPB, annis, missy, deedee, dj, rock, and anyone else that my little brain missed …hope you had a happy and safe weekend!
