I'm doing pretty ok, actually, for once. Still very much in student mode. Need to get my co-counseling in and I'm trying to get into the place I want to work sort of gradually as I have a course to take there as well. It's a non-profit, so I have to go through the board to get hired. It' probably gonna take a while.
Hubby's still heard nothing & we're quite bummed. Don't know what to think about it. It was the best prospect he's had in a long time. No one's called to say no, but no communication toward the positive either!

Thank you Alex....no he has fever still - will be out of school tomorrow as well. He is bored silly. Once the fever goes down he feels fine. So I just have to play Guitar Hero with him and Madden08 the best I can. But it makes him happy so I am glad to do it...he can beat the snot out of me.

Hi all, this ship seems to be deserted today, infact it is quiet all around a2k, where is everybody? Could it be because of the new summer and winter times which have started around the globe? What do you guys think?

Everybody is busy making preperations for the yabbers halloween bash.

Sorry for jumping ship for a while. Hubby back home now and still busy working around the property when I can. I look at the California bush fires and it scares me to think of how little time we have left to finish tidying up. I have a terrible fear this year is going to be quite bad. Still no water in the dam and no good rain forecast. These are the times when I think living in suburbia is better. Baby magpies and currawongs all out of their nests so endless stream of parents tapping on my window for handouts. Peacock has returned again and doing his beautiful display in my courtyard and looking at himself in the window reflections. Vain boy!!

Halloween bash huh - sounds good - just what we need a party to boost up spirits (may be that was thewrong word to use for halloween huh ) Hope everyone is well and coping and hugs to those who are not. ((hugs))

Hey DeeDee - so good to see you. I hope it is not as bad as you think it may be. I think it is amazing that you live in such a wonderful place where the animals seek you out. Mighty cool.

My S boy - thought he was better but started running fever again. So, I guess I am going to have to take him to the Dr. tomorrow to find out why this is hanging on. As sure as I do he will be fine though.
