@verbivore,
Great stuff! I see that I've got another dance style to get out and learn about.

Sounds like a marvellously hectic adventure.

@ehBeth,
VBV, enjoyed your post so very much!!!!!!! All so exotic. Thx.

Yep, started back at uni for final year last week and am really enjoying seeing old friends again, catching up on news and getting back into study mode. Had a particularly bad spell of my illness though for a couple of days but am recovering now. The cooler weather makes me more prone to acute episodes unfortunately so I have just gotta take them in my stride. I nearly lost my life a year ago so life's very precious, even if a bit different with this condition. And thankfully I have a lot of days free from it.

Have been thinking back to childhood (in a village not so far from where Izzie lives) as my best friend from age 3-11 has been in touch - from Caracas. She has lived there since she was 20 (married a student she met in London who is Venezuelan and returned home after qualifying) and I haven't seen her - or had contact - since then.

I love this shrinking globe thing - how lucky we are with emails/skype/threads like this to keep us all well hugged and close! T x

@whiteviolet,
Good golly miss molly….

Well…. Let’s see " what’s been going on today. Started the day by taking a few photos…. Which of course I have to post now…. Coz that’s what I do! Had been thinking about someone whilst contemplating my navel - and this is what I came up with…

Tulip thinks I’m mad…. Taking photos of dewdrops " little things please little minds….. HA " the mad Dartmoor wench " but they looked lovely.
So… anyways, Tulip turned up and took the kids and dogs for walkies " then came back for tea and Victoria Sponge. We sat in the brilliant sunshine …… oh oh oh TULIP " you know the lovely plants that you were having from the pond…. Ahhhhhhhh…. No more! Whilst I was picking up your lawnmower " S-boy decided to be helpful " BIG BLUE SHEARS " OMGosh!!!!!! Too late…. Snip snip snip….. and gone. He was trying to be helpful " I did have to snicker a little " but he was crushed when he realised they were for your pond. Funnily enough tho " found a bucket with some in, in the middle of one of the flower beds " so all is not lost…. Your trailer pond will be stunning!

There….. now, that leads me on to getting Tulips lawnmower. I MOWED THE LAWN. I didn’t break anything, I didn’t get an electric shock " my gardens look lovely. Then, got the big blue shears and cut everything down that I couldn’t walk past without getting covered in those 8-legged webby things!!!! How happy is that. Did get my hand covered in stinging nettles which is playing havoc with my nerve endings right now " but hey ho! My garden is ….. SNIPPED!

So….. here’s some autumn leaves

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1060587.jpg

And of course a bug…

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1060647.jpg

Cute little fella ‘aint he!

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/P1060656.jpg

Ok.. so, onto the important stuff…

Mis…… cracked radial! How is it??????

Bethie " hope you and Brendalee have a brill time " sounds wonderful… a lovely way to spend an autumn’s evening. We used to go to outdoor theatre/musicals up in London and go to the Jazz by the River down ‘ere. Fab. Events like that, indoor and outdoor are good for the soul. Have fun.

WytVi " so glad you are doing better gal. Good on ya back at school. Love the shrinking globe too!!!

BEAgle " hope you are now happily at home with the PL family " lots of love to you and them.

((((Dev)))) ((((jw)))) ((((RH)))) ((((JPB)))) ((((BLUE)))) and alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the (((((crew)))))

Have a great Sunday everyone and ….

You really are the BEST!

@Izzie,
Oh bugger was looking forward to the water plants! Never mind made me laugh!

Glad my lawn mower was of service!

Ok feeling knackered! Painted some more wood work! Then painted some wall in the hall until I ran out of paint so have one corner with no paint. My son tried to help by power washing the slabs! so now have funny patterns on my slabs and have washed car, drain pipes and house walls!

Have been suffering with sore throat and headaches and really tired but still managed to do things! Just keep my self busy, busy, busy!!

Lovely pics Iz! Dew drops!!! Razz X

@whiteviolet,
Hi whiteviolet, loveliest of lavender-loving ladies.

Part of the shawl/hood I'm knitting for brendalee is a variegated eyelash yarn with purples in it.

The concert last night was wildly energetic. Sometimes it is easy to tell why Geminiani, Vivaldi, Boccherini were the rock and rollers of their day. The young Italian guest conductor made it a wow experience for the orchestra and audience. While a lot of the audience is white-haired (or would be if we didn't have access to L'oreal), we still appreciate vibrant musicianship.

While I could use some help with some of my home chores, I think annis' son might be a bit toooo enthusiastic. He'd prolly knock my lil old house over with his power washing Shocked Very Happy

Izziee..who doesn’t love dew drops kissing the flowers and leaves? Has been the theme of many a poems if im not mistaken. Loving ur pics " always!! Nd yeah I loved the trip dearie.
Ehbeth..its one interesting thing of india.the country is divided into so many parts and each section believes it to be different and holds out different cultures though the essence might be the same. Each state has its own art form and its more interesting if u observe the similarities of the nature of the state people and their art form..oops now I better dnt get verbose abt it.
WyVi " hope u r doing fine.wats up wit ur little fella???? Hope the crew help u cope up with the tough times dear. Sending warmth all the way.
Ur soo true…its so niice to be in touch with people far nd near!!!
Hiya TTH ..feels like ur playing hide and seek but yeah gud to c u in & out. Hows ur health? Poss vibes ur way too..

@verbivore,
Thanks verbivore Very Happy
I have been doing more reading than posting. My health so far is good. I have to check my oxygen level every so often because apparently I am too stupid to know when I don't have enough oxygen in my blood (I was still alert and walking when my oxygen level was in the 70's). That stumped the docs.

Hoping everyone has a good day. I have to leave for a doctor's appt. shortly.

@TTH,
Violet - am reading back over the last few pages. In my loritab haze did not read everything. So sorry to hear you are in a bad way. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your son as well. Hope you get to feelling better soon, and that all goes well with you and son.

TTH - hope that Dr's appt goes well

Verbivore - you could never post too much. Love hearing from you dear!

Beth...loving that onion thread...so yummmmmmmy - and I danced to
"Bad Girl" - love Donna.

Dev - still thinking and praying for you as well dear.

What big hearts you all have. In the midst of your own trouble to seek to lift up and encourage others is an amazing sign of character. Bless you all!

Dutchy - I hope you are having the time of your life. You are missed! Eat some lobster for me would you?

I am dawdling today. Still can't drive. Still can't work around the house like I want to - so I am quilting. I know - it is a granny thing - but I love to do it. My next door neighbor - who is like my grandmother - taught me. Here is one I did for my living room. It actually has remnants from my kitchen curtains in it.

I am working on pink and purple ones to make a pillow for my niece now. It is fun and it keeps me busy, at least until the left arm is good enough to get back to the bigger labor. I will say, it has been nice to tell The Prof. "My arm is hurting do you mind folding those clothes?" or " doing the dishes?" Very Happy He has been a honey about it though. Makes me appreciate him so much!

Okay - I am going to try to do something useful.
