@TTH,
He's a pain in the ass that Try. It's called Lortab Try...been on it quite a bit as of late. Gators bite alright - but I must say - Tebow is a cutey petootie - quite a nice little laddie.

Better today. I have cracked my Radial Head - that's my elbow. I will have it splinted for the next week and a half and then back to the dr - possibly need PT depending on how well I am able to bend it. My bruised ribs and knee are better. Have more Lortab though...wow.

Anyway - you all are sweet folks. Thanks for all your sweet wishes. I am much, much better and expect will be good as I can be soon. Wink

hugs to you all,
missy

@Izzie,
Late night here.

The evening breezes are lovely - even with the essence of autumn skunk lingering ...

mismi! oy! I'm glad you went to the doc. That wouldn't have been nice left unsplinted. Take care of yourself - as should everyone aboard this ship!

We don't want the next version of Ship of Fools to be re-written to feature the Yabber-liners.

Good morning to one and all.

Bon voyage Dutchy mate, have a good time.

Missy, am I to safely assume your present medical condition precludes even the remotest chance of a roll in the hay?

Have a great weekend crew!

@Tryagain,
Nearly noon here. The puppies luncheon soup is on the burner, being warmed up. They are having a lamb/pork broth with fresh carrots cut into it. InstaRice will go into the bowls to be covered with broth. Kibble will be counted in once the rice is cooked, and the broth has cooled. It is, in fact, a dog's life here.

Tafelmusik season-opener tonight. I'll be going with brendalee. Looking forward to it very much.

@devriesj,
back home. whoa whoa whoa..the trip was really hectic. We started off at 7pm from here with a lot of problems to handle! we had to pick up a group of 12 dancers for the event and a MC! we reached at 5.30 and 11am we started the backstage works..preparing the order of the performances, co-ordinating with the DJ for the kind of music he ought to play, with the light men for the kind of lights for each dance he needs to put on, the hostesses as to where they need to stand & invite the guests, the dancers as to how much time they'll get after each dance, the MC's as to what they need to announce and when! Man i got a large large chunk of these responsibilities as the other lady who came with me had to occupy herself with some accounts stuff! O! just cant explain how much i ran, skipped meals and went around for ths stuff! but it was really satisfying to know tht we could make it a huge success! and ya thers no snap that ive gt! tht is still a very sad thng for me..but lemme see if somone from office had clicked some snaps! wil surely post it..it was a beach resort, a five star one, with nice chateaus (pondicherry was a french colony!), beach view, swimming pool and all!

but today i would like to aquaint you with an art form which even i came across just now! in ths trip!
YakshaGana - it is the official dance/traditional dance of the state im living in! Karnataka. Yaksha-gana literally means the song (gana) of a Yaksha. Yakshas were an exotic tribe mentioned in the Sanskrit literature of ancient India. You can also say its a sort of an opera.

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8900/yakshaqj3.jpg

There was a fusion dance for our program wherein there was a blend of Bharathanatyam, yakshagana & western dance. They performed to the rhythm of a flute music! I just dont have enuf words to describe the beauty of the dance!

Now am in bits and pieces! back home, my legs paining! and totally exhausted, but yeah i loved it.
izzie Smile)) it was hilarious - the little fella's reading! & yeah hope u gt the gist of the new job & adventure frm the words abve!
Mismi - hope ur completely alrite by now!
Dutchy!!! just imagine..ur going to ur family get-together and still you are thinking of the lobsters you're going to eat?? alex! now do u agree wit me?
WyVi- Im doing good Smile thanks a lot for asking, hope ur doing fine there.
Dev - am sorry i was too eager and thrilled tht me too posted an adventure! Im sure ud be yearning for one too..bt dont ya worry..ull be packing ur bags soon enuf! no plans yet? well can make one now right?

tht was a long long post 4m me!!! lemme wind up
love all..xoxoxoxoxoxox
