Hey, you know what, just back from the bottle shop with 1/2 dozen of these, Shaw & Smith, Adelaide Hills (South Australia) Chardonnay M3 Vineyard 2003. A great drop, drink as much as you like DDXX, there are more where they came from! Laughing

Ships Log

Well lovely crew - it has been so nice to see lots of our shipmates on board today. Smile

The biggest grin of my day was our dear Mismi - who brings a smile to my face as I picture the words and the way she says them.

Those are amazing...how cool is that? He works on planes and they really fly - does he fly? That is a stupid question isn't it?

No hunni, it wasn't at all … PaPaDD doesn't fly them - but you did make me laugh out loud. Very Happy

The star of the ship today for being the fastest A2Ker post-a-pic shipmate is Indeedee who has shown us PaPaDD's planes. I am in awe of PaPaDD's hobby and look forward to seeing more. MORE MORE MORE please Indeedee. Smile

Now - how weird is this. Shocked (bear with me)…

Thisavo my Mom brought up the first Camellia of the year from my garden (this was a Mother's Day present from my BigBoy - a tiny little shrub after we returned to England (he was 2 then). When we left our house in London we brought it with us and replanted. Look how stunning it was when it flowered today. Smile

Then, tonight I had to shuffle downstairs to make myself a drink - 1.30am - looked out the window and LOOK……

Proper snow in Devon … and on my car. Shocked

Now I know that's not so exciting for all you guys who are snowed under right now - but, I thought I would share it with y'all anyway and send a little bit of snow Down Under to try and cool them all down a little.

(OK - so little things please little minds - just go with the flow here a?)

Camellia's and Snow - all in one day. It's a beautiful world, izzn't it? Smile

So - not much else to report. Hoping that our JPB's little gal is doing well in FL. Been thinking about her and wishing her all good vibes from the UK. Smile

Trust that the rest of the motley crew are having a good day and life is faring well for one and all.

Wandel - thanku so much. That meant a great deal to me personally. Thanku. Smile

Crew - you are the best. Smile

okay izzieliz one more question. How do I insert photo or funny pic or whatever into my profile. Tried the same method as posting pics - did not like it.

Hey Indeedee

Well - the avatars have to be little iddy biddy tiny pics - less than 6KB.

Do you know how to resize a photo in whichever photo software you use? Most times, it will give you an option to resize or compress the photo or pic. It needs to be made reaaaaaaaaaly small. If it is an avatar from a pic on the web - these are usually quite small. If you save it to your hard disk you can then resize or compress that too. Then you just upload onto your profile - must be less than 100 x 90 (or 90 x 100) pixels.

Someone else may have a real easy way of doing this. I always go about it the long way! Smile

Izzie that camellia is BEAUTIFUL. A taste of spring in the midst of a snowfall eh? You've reminded me that all our snow and ice can't last forever -- there are crocuses (croci?) and tulips under all those snowdrifts somewhere just waiting!

Indeedee - this is from the Forum Help (all a bit Double Dutch to me) - I usually start at the back page - no longer it takes me so longer to figure stuff out.

If all else fails - there are some smart people here who can help Smile
