I am so tired. I have been at the pool and the heat just sapped every bit of energy I have in me. I think I am applying for a position as a teachers aid up at the school. Just part time...but it pays more than substitute work...so that would be a blessing.

I hate it...but with all three of the kids in school...well...it just doesn't make sense me sitting home and doing nothing but cleaning and such. So...ugh. I will work. I know - I should be ashamed of myself. I am. I have just been out of the work force for so long - it scares me a little.

Anyway...I am going to go fold some clothes.

Oh how I wish I could do photography for real and as a job (little chance methinks) - but I have an idiot-proof point and click camera... it does the trick. The flashy camera I have... I can't use Hey Ho! Love pics, love taking pics. My life is a "visual". Thanku.

Oh the work thing.... when I first started back at work after being "homemaker" (mmmm - ugh) I started back with just a few hours a week at the local school - and eventually it built up to 26 hours a week and term time only, and my grades just kept increasing with experience - again, very lucky to have always landed on my feet and my job is so varied in the tiny school I'm at. Which is great. It's scary at first... but actually being back at work was a blessing.... really!

Just go for a few hours hun if you can get them... and see how you go. Schools, especially around young kids (preferably not your own as that can be more difficult), can be very energising. It will also give you a sense of identity - you know what I mean when I say that. I've never done the "in the classroom" bit - so I don't know what that would be like... I'm into finance and files and info! (most peoples nightmare - but I love it)!

Whatever you do hun - you will do good. Coz that's who you are.

Actually - if I'm completely honest... if I could work from home - do a job from home... computer stuff... internet stuff... I would do! I found my identity.... now, I would work from home in an instant. Don't think I will get the chance tho.

I'm gonna try and keep a low key weekend. I have some personal things to work through and a quiet weekend is perfect for that. Hard to think during the week. Love you too, my friend! Lots!

Hey bigred....math was my downfall this past year as far as achieving what I set out to. I ended up with all A's except for one lowly A- in math, which capped my final GPA @ 3.97 on a 4.0 scale. I should be happy with that since I was actually even lower than that going into finals. Oh well. It is what it is and nothing I can do this year. I will get there, next year.:wink: And so will you, if you go back.

If you do go back and need a little help, hit me up! I can probably help you with Calculus, Analytic Geometry, Linear Algebra, ODE's or maybe some on Probability Theory / Statistics.

My main problem in Math is the timing of the tests. I have to work faster than my brain comprehends sometimes. If you have an hour for a test, it doesn't always leave you much time for slowing down to think for very long. You just have to keep pushing and hoping that what you just worked out on your problem is correct. For me……that can be hard. My brain likes to reason too long sometimes. (The blonde in me?)
