Another wonderful year and it's been an amazing one...

49 years young.... Ahahahhahahaaaaha, the best year of my life... It's hard to imagine that each year gets better and better and those in my life make it so...

This year, my eldest son came bavk into my life.

I've loved as I've never loved before, effortlessly

Each day is such a blessing, I'm so thankful...

Today, after a late night chilling with Charlie, Kbro, Seany, the girlz and Lboy, Kbro and I were up 5.15am and we did birthday cuppas and gorgeous pressies. We have a monstrous storm today, expecting much of the SW to be flooding around lunchtime, so by 6.45am the first car set off to head bavk up to Essex... And the second car left about 45 mins ago with Charlie and J... I will be longing for their phonecalls in around 6 hours to say they have got home safely.

It's been the loveliest weekend just spending time ... Ma & Pa will be popping over later, roads permitting, and Sean's off to his Dads later this afternoon and bavk home on Boxing Day when we hope to see Ryan.

So, a fabulous day ahead and time to reflect tonight on how amazing life iz.

I'm so fortunate to love and be loved... To have folk that care for me

Charlie and KBro arrived back safely so all is well there. We're still in the monstrous storm and oooooooooooooooh my, the river is loud and BIG. BIG BIG. The South West's been hit hard and the next storm is coming on Friday. BUT OH MY - reading about ice storms in Canada - goooodness gracious me. ((Bethie - take very good care.)) x

Hope everything's OK down your way after the massive storm last night. I was woken up by a chainsaw, saw there's at least one fallen tree down our street.

Thinking about Izzie also - we had a monster of a storm here, but the only damage appears to be to fencing. Lots of branches down but the trees seem okay in our garden. Some down nearby though.

Christmas morning here and a lovely sunny day of 34 degrees. Wishing all the crew a Very Merry Christmas. Izzie made my day as she called the Bosun early this morning and we had a lovely chat, thank you Captain. xxx
