@Dutchy,
Dear Dutchy, I hope you get that nod from the Big Chief soon, so you can continue to recover in the comfort of your home. Keep mending well. XXX
Firefly, that is something I am convinced Dutchy WOULD do
Good morning all, Try I smile because you make me Love reading your posts .
Just a quick word......................STEAK~ .........................Dutchy's meal tonight at home with Anna yes? Tell it's so.........................
Bosun darlin’ – so glad the latest ops have given such positive results and that finally you can go home and be with Anna to continue your recovery. Makes me so happy to know that you will be home and that you’ll be with family soon. Rest, relax, recover and we will talk in a few hours
STORMY – good golly girl – you had knee surgery – oooooooooh, nasty for you. I hope that you’re recovering well and that your knee will be as good as new. Heal well girl. ((((Stormy))))x
Missy – GUS – love that sweet little kitty – reminds me of one of my boys – ahaha, the first thing I thought of was Tulip and her "Fair Goose" as we call him, then this Gustav
and then Gustavratzenhofer (if you get a capybara and move to a swamp I shall start to worry for you)!
Sweet kisses to the new addition to your family. By the way – your laugh made me smile so much – you have the perfect laugh and a beautiful voice! Good luck with going back to school – your term times are all so different to ours – we have a few more weeks off and then back into school and the nights drawing in... it’s feeling quite autumnally chilly here for the last couple days – brrrr – but as we had a heatwave in the UK (ya know that only means above 28deg for a few days) but no complaints on the summer front (though I would like to have some more sunshine if Mother Nature would like to accommodate - bows to Her Worldliness). I’ve spent every day in my garden with my trusty (but still defunct camera) since we broke up from school – it’s my little piece of heaven and where I find myself losing time.
My children (did I say children?) – yes – went to Croatia with their Dad and his family a couple weeks ago. All went well. Most odd – but happy odd. They all had an exceedingly good time.
Me, I had peace – such a wonderful feeling. mmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
FS – hoping all is well with you and that you’re not working too hard. How’s your little pup, Rawaii, getting along? I do hope he’s letting you get some sleep now

I just cannot be without my laptop. AAAArgh!
Did you ever solve the problem with your laptop? Can't help but wonder!
Ahhhhhhhh, well, I think I’ve had at least 2 others since then – I have a remarkable ability to get through laptops and totally destroy them!!!!!!!!!!!! This latest one has been going well enough for a while now (OK, so that was the kiss of death, no doubt) – when it goes wrong, I do tend to lose the plot. I hope you’re getting used to Windows8 – my son has a touch screen W8 notebook and loves it.
Osso – so hoping that you have now recovered from your tilting and that the new meds are doing what they need to. Gosh – so glad that there was good news as the end of that episode. Thinking of you. x
Boida – have been channelling you from my garden and all the boids around me. I so wish for things to be easier for you... <sigh> -MASSIVE HUGS to you ((((Boida))))x
MaMaVerby – hoping all is well with you and that life is being gentle. Let us know how you're going when you can. x
Tulip - see ya soon - will let you know when S is working. Good luck to S-girl on her A'Level results on Thursday.
IzzY – ha, it could only happen to you and Tulip The tale did make me chuckle! Hoping that your girl is enjoying herself in China and that she is all settled in now.
jw & Mz Annie - hoping all is well in Chitoon and you're having a great summer.
POMcTaggers - your garden is looking amazing - just don't you be losing too many lbs and slipping through the drains!
(((Missy, JPB, Bethie))) – y’all are in my mind – Michaelmas Daisies (White Ladies), Fuscias, Pink Frondy Wavy Thangs... the garden is blooming gorgeous!
Wishing all the supportive crew who've been jumping aboard good wishes and healing wishes to those that need to heal.
Shooting stars in the night sky... thanku Perseid (lallalla, catch a falling star and put it in your pocket lalalalalllla)
((((Blue)))), LYbaby ~ some people say... Amen to that!
Hey Izzie, we were looking at spending some time at a hotel in Teignmouth.
Could happen, later.
Going to Spain first. And before that, Scotland, gents fishing trip.

LOVE THIS! I know it was weird but how wonderful that you and their Dad can do this for them. So happy for the peace.
Oh the kitty. He is driving me nuts - but yes - his name is Gus...not after our own dear Gus - but after Burton Guster from Psyche. It's my boys favorite show. But he love to clamp those little teeth into my ankles right now. And he also is fascinated by my hoop earrings. Gah! He is so adorable though.
Ah the laugh...you must fall into that category of those that find it endearing because they love me. That is a great place to be for me. Love you girl. I hope you see lots and lots of sunshine before winter gets to you. (((Izzie)))

You could call him then, GahGus Little Rawaii also loves our ankles, we'll have to fight this one together (((((mismi ))))
((((DUTCHY)))) Welcome HOME!!!!! I know you are there, I'm a Witch, hope you have the bestest STEAK for dinner or if not, what ever ANNA decides to cook because SHE IS THE BOSS BOSUN!!! So happy for you.
(((((IZZIE)))) Yawn, sleep? What is that? Just kidding, actually after two days, I chose to 'not' answer the knock at the door, he didn't cry and so, I let him go.. Seems he prefers to run around the lounge room as a terror until we wake now which is awesome.. Greets us at the door, have to hold the bigger dogs back so I can pick him up.... He's grown already, tilts his head if I ask if he's been a good boy then waits for a treat.
Soooo anyways..... here he is, and a new bird that comes to see me every day, since Bigsy passed.... Maybe for bread, maybe because he can, maybe because it makes me smile, he's actually a Magpie "baby"...
Wishing everyone good morning, as I think it will be by the times this is seen and speedy recovery for those who need it, sunshine for everyone else. I GET THE IMG I don't get how to make them smaller .....sorrrrrryyy OH one last one with D, so you can see how tiny Rawaii is... That's it promise
but doesn't that Captain Cook smoulder! At least I'll be able to get some sleep. Only one more test to go. They were doing brilliantly in the bit I watched the other night - then I drifted off to sleep and so did all batsmen!
Hi crew, once again the Eagle has landed at home, and what a wonderful feeling that is. My first home cooked meal lovingly prepared by Mrs. Beagle, after completely losing my appetite in Hospital.
Talked to Izzie and Foundy since I've been home, nice to hear your voices ladies, gave me a real boost.
Some time ago I thanked verbivore for the lovely card with "biscuit" on these pages. What made me think it ws a biscuit attached to the card is anybody's guess. Well once home I had a cup of coffee and decided to eat the "biscuit" so opened the little parcel attached to the card.
Much to my embarrassment it wasn't a biscuit at all but a beautiful black plaque with an even more lovier saying on it. So apologies to verbivore for my error and a sincere thank you for your generosity. This can only happen to Dutchy. (((verbivore)))
From here on I hope to go slowly forward with the help of lovely physios and nurses who will visit me 7 days a week for the time being. My heels still have a long way to go but hopefully come good eventually.
((Shelia-Goil - I iz soooooooooooooooooocruelllllllllllllll wwhahahhaahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah))
DANNY BOY - love that we spoke - I just wish I had been a bit more with it and not so fuzzy from a late night! So very glad you are home, it was great to hear your voice - you sounded fantastic, what a joy to hear you. Heal well my Bosun - heal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
For DannyBoy and...
Daughter of FQSis - our baby girl - and Daughter of Tulip - Congratulations to our A'level girls - delighted, proud as punch for you, so very happy for you both, your MaMa's and families - you have both done so, so very well. Love you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

@FOUND SOUL,
Little Rawaii is just adorable. You're lucky he can't reach above your ankles.

@Dutchy,
And I'm so happy for you that you're back in your home.
I'm sure your appetite will improve now, and so will your heels, with all the at-home medical care you will receive.
Hi crew, Izzie and firefly.(beautiful piece of embroidery firefly). Settling in slowly albeit I've been very busy since I've been home, visitors and correspondence to take care of and the rehab people calling in. Slept round the clock on my first night in my own bed.
Nice to be able to play the threads at random again near a cosy fire and a real cup of my favourite coffee near me, thanks to Mrs.Beagle.
Wishing you all a great weekend, ours will be wet downunder.
Glad you're back in your own surrounding and that your health has improved. Equally happy that they'll be sending folks round to see you daily as you continue along in your recovering.
Be well, stay well.
