The vets gave us a card that has an almost identical cat peering out these huge windows, it sits on our table, as we have a spot just like that I think he's checking out the birds And Rawaii, David can't wait to be off work tomorrow for him...... tiny tot....... you can bet he has one protective Dad.

Hey we are home! So good to be back! F boy doing well, thankfully although he does get tired. Had to go to Doctors today as he has been have migraines and a sensitive foot which goes up to his shin. But doc said could be a pinched nerve. He has been amazing, his chest looks like it has been shot several times! his haemothorax is the only stitch in and will be taken out next Monday. Due to go back to Southampton hospital next Tuesday. Sboy and Izzie came round today which was lovely. I have text Izzie the push, shame we didn't meet up but I tend to shut myself down and just deal as this is how I cope. Fboy's heart is doing well, the aorta op. went successfully just the trouble with the lung. But he is alive and progressing that is all I wish for. Thank you all for your thoughts and those that rooted for him.

So glad everything has gone well and that you and F boy are safely home again. Hope the foot problem gets sorted soon.

But the main op is over now and, hopefully, F boy is on the mend. Hope you can get in some 'me' time soon - you deserve it!

Met a lovely and lovey new girldog on our street today.

She is a one-year old black lab/greyhound cross. Her name is Izzy, short for Isabella. She came home to our neighbourhood from rescue the day after Bella arrived. Her human companion was just beaming. He'd been so sad since they lost their To-Joe beagleboy.

Aweee... So happy for him.. D's little gremlin is well making a gremlin sound worming his way up to Kia, well sort off ..............in the lounge-room when he is not biting my toe!!!

Izzie.... will ring Anna today.. Anna spoke to Danny yesterday briefly.. His blood pressure is very low, and he's had a nurse assigned to him 24/7 last night, which is a good thing.... Sending more prayers....

News of our Bosun

The bypass went well, as well as can be expected – it was a very looooooong operation 8am-ish-3.30pm – he’s in considerable pain and has been taken into ICU as his BP and sugars are all over the place – he’s on IV antibios and morphine pump and of course, the dialysis. He’s not too “with it” at this point – that should improve when they can get him off the pump.

Anna is her incredible self – full of hope and positivity – yesterday was a very difficult day for her but she has spoken and seen Danny. She’s not sure when he will be moved off ICU – but has spoken with the surgeon today and they say that the bypass was a success.

Now we have to hope and pray that he will be able to put his best foot forward (OK, so Anna and I have been having a little dark humour ) so please keep those healing wishes going for him.

‘Twas so good seeing you yesterday and being able to catchup. F-man has been through so much... an amazing young man, but so have you, just so glad you are safely home, you’ve been utterly fantastic. It was great to have a cuppa together (despite that fact I drank the wrong tea <blech>) ~ I hope so much that the migraines will stop and his foot returns to normal. Have the best birthday. Thanks Izzie - hot weather here has meant hat heaven of late. Been dragging out all of my old Laura Ashley's, a prized straw fedora, and some massive floppy brimmed ones - example below! With huge Tom Ford sunglasses hiding a large part of my face, and sun protection factor 30 on the rest - hey, I'm ready for the sun!
