We are in tournament pool play. It's the part of little league baseball that puts the kids in their seeding. We start playing the actual tournament Thursday. Being the team mom is a bit exhausting. Lots to do to keep the boys cool and frosty so they play well. I am beat. It is hot as h-e double l down here. Last night the air was still and so muggy it felt like somebody hit me in the face with a washcloth. yuck.

Hello Crew

All OK here – summer came... and disappeared again (ha) – 10 (yes, a whole 10 in a row) utterly fantabulous, glorious days at about 20-24 deg – just enough time to have bronzed up after spending every waking minute in the garden and up on the moors quietly capturing, watching and resting as time went by – and now we’ve been suddenly thrust back into autumnal days with rain, more rain and juuuuuuuust a tad breezy. Mind you, not going to complain at that – after schlepping bavk and forth and forth and bavk to the river to water the beautiful oasis (and forth and bavk and bavk and forth)– it’s nice to have the rain and see the whole garden turn a deeper shade of green and greener and greenest and uber-perky plants.

Have been silently, but quite happily, spending numerous hours with my broken camera, can’t bear to part with it though to put it in for repair – and spending time with my strength and peace.

A few more weeks and school will be out for 6 weeks – looking forward to the summer (!) holidays – woooooooooohooooooooooooo – less fatigue, always a bonus.

It’s very good to see the ship is sailing onwards and upwards – well, ya know, North, South, East and West, Oop Above and Down Under I know I’m no longer at the helm, for me, silence is no longer deafening, in fact it’s golden and I realise I live in my own little bubble which I won’t let burst. Content in my world simply keeping on keeping on. Please don’t think for one minute that I’m not thinking of y’all – I certainly iz! (I will try and write but I’ve lost my words)

Would ask you all to send good thoughts, prayers and wishes to Tulip, S-girl and F-boy – F-boy is to undergo open heart surgery soon but as yet, no date. Very soon though, so please do keep them in your thoughts. He’s 15... a lot for him to go through – but his quality of life will greatly improve. Sean is still taking exams at present but finishes a week today – then he and F-boy will get to spend some proper time together.
