Great news! I'm so glad for Dutchy that he is finally at home.


Now I hope that life will be more normal for him, and that he'll continue to gain strength as he enjoys all of the familiar comforts of home.

Thank you Found Soul, indeed I landed back home yesterday and it is a great feeling to be back in familiar surroundings. Mrs.B cooked my favourite meal last night and it was great after the Hospital meals. My treatment is still continuing for the next 12 weeks under a home care plan. Nurses and Physios will come to my home on a daily bases to get me back on my feet, just need to regain strength at the moment. Spoke to the Captain last night and we chatted for about 30 minutes, she's doing fine after a few rough weeks, health wise.

To all my a2k friends, thank you for your comments, when I finalise all my paper work I shall be back on the threads.

Thank you crew for your welcome back, it's a good feeling to be back in familiar territory and able to do a few posts. Been home a few days now and have been extremely busy to get my life back in line again. Many visitors held up my progress but it was a pleasure to see them all. Thinking of you all.

We went for yet another check-up to day! They now ask us if we have considered different valve options! I said we were due for aortic root sparing, which means they save the valve, but have now been told that until they open him up they won't know! grrrr and grrr, I am going with what the surgeon says. But no actual appointment as yet. As we keep being told, babies come first before teenagers! What happens if the teenagers go down hill!! It just hard keeping the positive vibe!

Any how it has been a lovely sunny day here in Devon! Got my wine and chilling!
