May I also raise a small voice in support of a true gentleman known as Dutchy and wish him a speedy resolution to his condition and restoration to good health.

I echo the same sentiment to all who struggle with illness and disabilities, may you find comfort in the messages of support I have read on this thread. It gladdens my heart that there are so many kind and caring A2K members on board.

However, I’m sorry to say that I must dear Dutchy, decline your kind offer to temporarily fulfil your Boson’s roll in entertaining the ladies on board….. as I fear my constitution would not be up to the task in hand!

Morning Crew

Had a long yabber with the Bosun this morning and he sounded GOOD! We were talking about his son and the pride in his voice was booming out (quiet booming, but booming nonetheless.) He's not able to do any walking but MrsDanny did take him for a little drive in the car and they had a bite to eat whilst they were out. He's still struggling with the angina pains...and it's all a bit of a puff and hard work to get through the days at the mo, but he's going into this surgery with a positive beak, whilst understanding that this big open heart surgery is going to mean a very long recovery. Also had a chat with Mrs Danny and she's, as always, holding up remarkably well and taking very good care of her man. She's a strong and stoic lady, worried as you'd expect, and knowing that's there's a lot of hard work ahead, but supportive and keeping Danny in check!!!!!!! Heh heh

As with our Boida, the 17th will be the day of finding out what is going to happen and when... so a few more days of anxious waiting and staying as relaxed as possible. Not easy under the circumstances.

Tomorrow is going to commence this start to a long week for Danny with hospital appts each day for renal and heart things, so were hoping with the highest hopers that the operation will take place soon after he sees the surgeon so he can start his recovery.

Again, he's most appreciative and thankful for all your messages and wishes and he's overwhelmed at all the goodness folks are sharing with him. Bless y'all.

Doing well. Daddy's doing great! So proud of him. Love you more than you know dear friend. So glad to hear of Danny's strength. Let him know me and the kids are praying and thinking of him and A every day.

It is torrentially raining here, reeeeeally cold, but none of the white fluffy stuff at all... Sheesh, the.rain.is.so.heavy!!!!

Gonna have to go check the car is still working... Haven't started it up since Thursday and my starter motor is not the best in the woild and the battery hasn't been too happy either. Think I shall wait for this downpour to desist before I attempt to go outside.

Still no snow, or rain for that matter, but it's still bloody cold.

Pass on my maximum best wishes to Mr and Mrs Dutchy.
