A message from Rabbie, a song: A Man's a Man for a' that
Is there for honest Poverty
That hangs his head, an' a' that;
The coward slave-we pass him by,
We dare be poor for a' that!
For a' that, an' a' that.
Our toils obscure an' a' that,
The rank is but the guinea's stamp,
The Man's the gowd for a' that.
What though on hamely fare we dine,
Wear hodden grey, an' a that;
Gie fools their silks, and knaves their wine;
A Man's a Man for a' that:
For a' that, and a' that,
Their tinsel show, an' a' that;
The honest man, tho' e'er sae poor,
Is king o' men for a' that.
Ye see yon birkie, ca'd a lord,
Wha struts, an' stares, an' a' that;
Tho' hundreds worship at his word,
He's but a coof for a' that:
For a' that, an' a' that,
His ribband, star, an' a' that:
The man o' independent mind
He looks an' laughs at a' that.
A prince can mak a belted knight,
A marquis, duke, an' a' that;
But an honest man's abon his might,
Gude faith, he maunna fa' that!
For a' that, an' a' that,
Their dignities an' a' that;
The pith o' sense, an' pride o' worth,
Are higher rank than a' that.
Then let us pray that come it may,
(As come it will for a' that,)
That Sense and Worth, o'er a' the earth,
Shall bear the gree, an' a' that.
For a' that, an' a' that,
It's coming yet for a' that,
That Man to Man, the world o'er,
Shall brothers be for a' that.
Thank you for your kind words, I know things change! I didn't feel for a year and when it returns boy, does it! As the saying goes life does and must gone on!
Forgive me for not reading back. I feel like if I cannot at least do that much, I prolly should not even be posting here. I just wanted to say hey. I think about you guys, even when I am too busy to come around much these days.
I have been alterning between grouchy and extremely grouchy. I guess on that scale, being grouchy is not so bad. I swear all the professors are intent on making or breaking us, but mostly breaking us. I am so tired that driving a car would be akin to driving a car drunk right now.
Enough of my rant. I hope that life is blessing all of you.
My 10 minutes are up - almost time to hit the books again.
Hi Brooke how pleasing to see you and listening to your little rant. You know my shoulder is always here for you! Glad all is well with you, I know with all your wisdom you'll keep those nasty Professors at bay, sock it to them baby. Hugs from down under. (((JustBrooke)))

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face, dear Izzie, but no Burns Supper for me tonight because I was at the band practice where we fought the Phantom of the Opera and were also In the Mood and played a fabulous fabulous medley arrangement of Cole Porter songs, drool drool, it it really something, very lush, and it's ten pages long.
Ohh Taggers - no-one is ever insignificant here... equality thru the ranks
"A man's a man for a' that", which basically means we are all the same. Wherever you come from, whatever your background, whether you are rich or poor - we are all human beings. Life is not about the cloth you wear, or the fine things you own, but about being a decent, honest, fair-minded person.
Y'all are so important. Tulip, kids and I are going to see Phantom of The Opera at the end of March - how exciting is that! Would love to hear your version. S-boy has started playing it on the flute too - luverly. Love to you and the Cabin Boy. How's her choir coming along? I watched the Military Wives Choir last night, made I cry. Bless them. Xx

Hi Izzie, good to read your happy post. Yes we had a great family day yesterday, time went quickly and the food was great. LOL
You'd be pleased to know Andy Murray is playing right now for a place in the final. He is playing the number 1 seed Djokovic and doing extremely well. The game is one set each and 3 all in the 3rd set, Come on Andy.
Good luck with the Audit Izzie, I'm sure the figures will work out, with a figure and looks like yours you can't go wrong.
Hope that the 'axe' was a hit... well, not literally an’ all... and hoping you and the kids are well (((IzY)))x
The axe's tale has not yet been told. It turns out he's playing the woodcutter in a school concert around Easter. It's a lot bigger than I thought, if I'd known I would have used more sellotape.

Someone has just won the good behaviour raffle at school, a brilliant set of pencils and rubbers. Dinosaurs, bumble bees, Father Christmas shapes, about 20 in all.
