@Izzie,
I'm baaaaack! OMG I had the best time!

Damn them spiders, anyhow. I am a screamer when they get near me. Knows how you feel and them heebie-jeebies tain't no friggen fun.

I am off to feed my tummy, which is growling at me as I have ignored it all day and yesterday too as most of yesterday was spent on the plane and in airports.

Will try and get some pics posted after bit if I have time or sometime this weekend. We shall see. Have to sort through them and try and find some of me not in my bathing suit. It was soooooooooo flipping HOT in Cancun. Bathing suits were the normal day-to-day attire. Anything else just made ya feel all yucky with sweat. Luckily I took a bunch of suits with me.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Good to be back in yabber land.

Love u and u and u and u! And u!

@Izzie,

My son's fiance is totally arachno-wotsit too.

Can't understand it myself.

Hey you could use the tube of the vacuum cleaner. It would probably never be able to crawl back out of the bag/ dustbox. Probably.

But if it did.....

@McTag,
Hello Taggers lovely Very Happy

I did use the vacuum but I couldn't see it in the see-through container at the front Shocked <mind you, I was about 5 or 6 ft away> ... and couldn't get close enough to the hoover after I'd thrown the hose down

See, now I can see how totally ridiculous I am and have calmed down - but I'm so jittery - feel like I'm crawling! If another one scuttles around tonight...well... yuk, if another one does, I know I'll pass out Confused

plain carpets, plain walls, open wooden staircase... all for a reason Wink - damn things still do run my life. Give me an insect - no probs... but it's the way "those things" move <shudder>

Nasty!

@JustBrooke,
Hi JustBrooke, welcome back, wondered where you got to. Pleased to know the weather was great and you did lots of swimming. Look forward to the photographs, Brooke in bikini would be nice. Wink

Izzie I'm relieved your spideradventure has ended well, can't believe something with 8 fingers can get you in such a mess. Just think of it, the Beagle has 10 moving moving fingers. Laughing

Going to the beach this morning, heading for 28 degrees, no doubt the new swimsuits will be on display, Brooklyn eat your heart out. Smile

Waves to the crew, especially miss sunshine. xxx

ps. Cross posted Izzie, I felt it in my bones, all shaky. Wink

Yep, you felt it alright - you know how pathetic I am on this one count. Heh, that and the 2 humankind who make me feel sick like that... blech.

But, that's done for the moment. Shall make enquiries on Monday after getting this resolved once and for all. Nights are drawing in, leaves are turning ... time for visitors... eeeeeeeeeeeeeuw.

Have a lovely walk along the beach and enjoy viewing the new bathers. If we get lucky - our beautiful babbling will some pics up - she's so stunning - how wonderful is it that she's had such a great time. ((BEAgle))

@Rockhead,
And mine is bees/wasps/hornets. Anything that flies and buzzes....and may sting me.

Seriously. I get cold chills if it's only a horsefly.

A wasp inside my car??? OMG, I'm likely to have a wreck. I pull over and jump out of the car as fast as I can!

One of these days, I'm gonna give myself a heart attack.

@Eva,
I have a wasp nest near the house and they've been kinda annoying - the follow you when you run. Of course, S-boy has a serious entomaphobia... he's petrifed of bugs since we visited the US. Ha, you can imagine, he doesn't stay close to me when togging a bug.

Yep, thanks for the warning about the picture - they really are coming in big right now - 2 massive ones in a couple nights... really doesn't bode well.

I'm not gonna cope as I've lost my edge already, but I can even do a game of it - I am a dribbling wreck... I tried with Butrflynet last year, or the year before who was trying to get me photographing them... and I did yesterday but it was in a web and munching outside and in a big garden (fairly safe as far as unliklihood of fainiting unless it jumps at me - ugh), so i could kinda cope with that... but haven't looked at the shots yet.

Heh, be good for you tho Zy...

Do you have pest control folks like Orkin where you are? They treat the perimeter of the house for pests. We had an Asian ladybug infestation a number of years ago (millions of the little suckers all over the inside and outside of the house) and the Orkin guys took care of it. While they were here they sprayed for spiders and I didn't see a spider for years.

@JPB,
I have some spider spray here which MaMa brought over a few days ago - it's in the garage...

can't go in on my own... will wait til tomorrow and start spraying around the house - ya know, might be a bit of a "did you relieve believe that crahp"... but, I'll try anything right now.

I freaked at work last year - kids thought it was OH SO FUNNY - heh, I gave them a hairy eyeball Razz

Gotta go bed now... better not be one up there... euwwwwwwww
