@Roberta,
H'Ark - it's gone verra quiet... (wo)man, that was a heavy cloud! Shocked

Good grief goil - it was bucketing down just now. Fortunately, Mr Tesco man (Gerry) didn't arrive during the massive downpour and managed to bring the food in without getting drenched. Bless that Gerry, upon request, he left me all the plastic carrying boxes so I can load the books and tut in for Monday - what a nice chap! Very Happy

Murphy has just appeared - he was hiding under the acer where he can remain dry - but the acer is on a slope and the rain runs down so he has just scooched in with 4 muddy paws! Nem'mind Razz

Do you remember the Ark building last year ("This Is The Ark That PaPa Built")- my blue shed at the bottom of the garden - well, the way that PaPa constructed it, that'd float right from my river and across the poind. I'll wave as our arks pass in the night Mr. Green

@Izzie,
Just peeping my nose in Izzie to see if your dry and enjoying your movie. I'm doing the same right now, raining here too, and watching Law and Order with Mrs.B. Just made a couple of double rum and cokes, and a heap of cracker biscuits with camembert cheese. Life can't get any better. Cheers. Drunk

Really enjoying the movie! It's making me smile and ...sigh...

Have to go start packing boxes when it's done - am trying to be enthusiastic but I don't think I'm persuading myself Wink - tad tired too. Will be good when it's done tho.

@Izzie,
Hi Izzie, haven't heard from mismi all weekend, wonder what she's been upto? Smile

Good to hear S-boy is home and had lots of stories to tell you now he can help you shift all them boxes.

Wished I had my camera with me this morning, went for my walk through the Aboriginal dreamlands and came across 2 Koalas playing on the grass, very unconcerned about my presence, could almost touch them. There are huge gum trees in this forest area in the middle of suburbia which obviously attract them.

Thank you for posting the lovely photos of verbivore and her family here Harbormaster, the little fellow has grown a lot, they certainly look a happy family.

@wandeljw,
She certainly does jw & Barry. Fantabulous shots of MaMaVerby, Eby and H-boy, hard to believe he's nearly 2 now Shocked

BEAgle - I do believe Missy is having some time with the Professor for their anniversary. I'm sure, when she's able2, she'll jump aboard.

JPB - DITTO! Razz

Those photos are truly superb tho (amazing site - that one above looks like diamond encrusted)...bless you for thinking of me and my bugs! My macro rig needs a ring flash, but right now (well, not for a fair long while), shooting withooooot a dedicated macro flash which does no justice - too slow shutter speed if flash off, exp needs increased and not enough detail - unless it's mega sunny in which case, detail is still reduced. I was a using a milk carton - but it kept falling off! Gorgeous bugs - almost makes me wanna get up at 5am tomorrow... perhaps...

however, very knackered - been a busy day tho S and I have been laughing all day, too loudy but 'eh, we have many clothes that are being donated to Oxfam, did well being brutal. Refurbish will take my carpets and they will be used somewhere for a good purpose.

House is nekkid - all boxed up and fitters will be in tomoz. Hmmmm... all day with folk in the house... Neutral hmmm... may have to take a drive for a bit - mebbe.

Anyhoo

Thinking of those near and far

@Izzie,
Wow Izzie, you don't muck about do you, paint job done and in go the carpets. I love wall to wall carpets, every room in my house has it except the kitchen which has a soft lino covering. I suppose we'll see pictures of your handy work shortly. Lets know if everything went according to plan. Hugs from downunder.

@Dutchy,
One room down - 5 to go! Two bedrooms will remain wooden <well, laminate> floors as they're rarely used and in good nick - but I would actually have preferred hardwood floors throughout - with the dawgs tho, that's just not practical, leave alone the expense <cough, splutter> plus S-boy really likes carpet under his toots Very Happy It'll be nice to have soft carpet under my feet this time (heh, I can be impractical when I do a future move when S-boy has flown the coop - mind you, I might have moved to S.Island in NZ and live in peace on a boat then! Ha, I really would be on the deck Razz )

So far, both kitties have been in the van Shocked so we're gonna need to check they don't hitch a ride to somewhere when the guys leave.

OK - gonna start moving things back into my bedroom now - they're starting on S-boys room next - busy busy busy Very Happy
