I've always been one of those annoyingly perky morning people.
heh heh - me too also
I lalalalallala from morning 'til night unless something brings a cloud - then I remember the clouds make rainbows so... lalallalalalla - nothing is gonna bring me down.
Oh JPB, I can't imagine you still getting snow forecast - I wish I could pass a little of my world over to you and Boida - it's simply super stunning right now - warm - 'singlet and crops' and the scenery is magnificent.
I spent yesterday yomping with my camera - walked and walked and walked the Cornwall Coastline - found treasures and delights every step of the way - I can't believe how I have not been to these places before - heh... got cut off by the tide <ahem> and had to get some help from some "burlies" with the equipment - not cut off cut off, not coast guard cut off - but waist high cut off with thundering waves - the most it was, was getting verra wet and fortunately, no damage to the equipment.
Got soaked as the waves crashed over the top of me (dried off in the sun many times), my camera got soaked (not too clever but.. ya know, 'it happens), my tripod almost disappeared into the depths (best place for it, it's sooooo crahp) - wasn't in danger in any way - and sooooooooooo worth the experience! It was THE best time. 8 hours of clicking and maaaaaaaaaaaaaan - it felt good. Found my strength with the sand beneath my toots and thinking of all that is good so near and yet so far.
Very sad thing happened tho - a dog ran off the cliff and the coast guard was called to retrieve - poor poor dog and the folks and their kids too - I don't think some folks realise the dangers of the cliffs - very sad to see. So sad.
Watched the sunset over an abandoned tin mine on a cliff face - truly, a spectacle - soooooooo quiet, sooooo peaceful - hardly a soul to be seen.
Got a lotta pain in the 'ole joints today - but, again, worth it!
To add to the delights - Charlie is coming today for a sleepover - yayayayayay - can.not.wait but have.no.food.in.the.house. Oops! Heh - we'll figure something
Glad the tax returns are out the ways for the USers - and hoping so much the weather is gonna improve for y'all.
BEAgle - ha, I had to laugh, I saw a proper pirate flag yesterday and immediately thought... hmmm.... can I shimmy up the flagpole and nab it <slap my wrist for thefting thought> and send it to our Pirate Down Under - all I could think was how brave you are with your injections and what not - even if you don't think it - you amaze me.
(((Boida)))) - mmmmmm cookies and milk - sleep well goil - all love x
Anyhoo - the sun is divine outside and my cherry blossom is calling out to me to go look at it - so, off I go ... might just havta get the lawnmower out - but may see if the little fella is feeling energised enough to do that. We split it now - he does one lawn, I do t'other (if I can).
((((MissyMis)))) - love ya girlie - big huge hugs - hope you had a great weekend and are clear of the twisters - have been hearing about the damage... gosh... lives lost too... devastating for many. Take care and be safe Mis. x
((((Taggers))) - healing wishes, hope you'll be in full recovery mode as soon as.
((((smooches Blue)))) love to you and yours xox x
Catcha later crew, thinking of those near and far.
