Hoping for many things - giving thanks for many too. A grandmother and her grandson pulled from the rubble 9 days after the tsunami - 80 years old, not a scratch on her blessed body - grandson not quite so fortunate, but alive and recovering. Made I cry.

Iz querida, Two days ago I was walking around outside without a jacket. Has spring sprung? NO! It's steenkin' snowing at the moment.

First full day of spring ...and it snows!

N. was supposed to have day 1 of baseball tryouts for the high school today and it had to be postponed because of poor travel. The fields still have 8 inches of snow on them....I'm getting very impatient for spring and baseball.

I would be too Beth. I just can't have high hopes for snow around here...especially now. It's totally opposite. I sweat outside now. Not very lady like - my mama always told me to say "glow" - but I don't glow - well...I do turn pink.

Boys had their first two games. Lost both of them. Pooh. Both J and G played great. Just couldn't pull it out. Oh well...there's a whole lot more of baseball to go. Stormy - keeping my fingers crossed that the snow will stop and you will start getting your baseball weather. I know you are looking forward to it.

We are having to buy a new car. Totally bites. I HATE spending money. Especially on something like a car. I love them - need them...just wish my old ones would hang in there a little longer. But no. So the prof is reading used car consumer buyers report to make sure we are getting the best one for our money. I just want to get it over with.

If I had my preference - I would find one of these and make it work

Anyway - I have been up since 4:30 this morning - so I am beat too. Going to call it a day.

Hi miss sunshine how nice to see you. Looks like you've had a busy time, baseball with the boys, putting up a fence to keep Pistol in, and now in the process of getting another car. No wonder you're beat. Rest well my dear friend.

All is well down here, flying over to see the grand kids this weekend, the middle one turns 10 and we've been invited to his birthday party, our first trip away for over a year.

It's going. Busy - I am still trying to learn to juggle it all. I suck at it.

How are you doing? How's Hamburger?

hamburger's doing pretty well. the house sold earlier this week (before it even made it on the market). he's settling in - doing lots of exercise! started doing Tai Chi today lots of folks to have meals with.

internet connection was apparently fixed today - it's been an ongoing battle with the evil Cogeco grrrrrrrrrrrrr - hopefully we'll see him here again soon for more than one or two posts!

Heh heh - he's amazing. Love that he has such a great attitude.

Hope to see him around more as well. Great about the house. In this economy it's pretty amazing.

I think he'll be glad to be able to get back aboard the A2k yabberliner! he even treated himself to a laptop. He'll be able to post from his little balcony (once the snow melts and it's a bit warmer!)
