Goooooooooooood Morning Crew!
So here I sit in a rather "purple" hospital room with a big window looking out onto a flowering cherry blossom tree! Kinda nice actually.
Have had the necessaries done, blood pressure proves I've got a beating heart and they've put my bracelet on me just in case I forget who I am.
Well, have had the rings taped up, got a HUGE great thing on my arm saying allergic to pethidine (dang, that stuff's good) and am now awaiting my gorgeous anaesthetist, Mr. M. Walker (how happy was that to have an anaesthetist called WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!! - did laugh when he walked in).
So, we had a yabber and explained again the procedure - Oh and then, BLISS - he'll give me my sleeping potion - then he says "Now little lady - look into my eyes and start counting down from 10 - then all your dreams come true" - WHY IS IT I CAN NEVER GET PAST NUMBER 6 - what's that all about a? I mean if he said 5 I'd have a chance - but oh no - gotta be count down to 1!
Well, hey, you can't have it all.
Anyhoooooooo - Now the worst thing about any of this is NOT HAVING A CUPPA TEA! How sad it that.
Talk about major withdrawal symptoms!!!!!!!! So - have got my music on and gotta bit of Bon Jovi going on here - Living On A Prayer - errrrrrrrrrr maybe change that one a? "Open Road" - that's bit more like it!
Just in case anyone is wondering - I have not received drugs of any sort whilst rambling away here - Ima wasting time and giggling away! Just ignore me - A2K administration has requested a second lobotomy attempt as the surgeon ignored the first when discovering there was no brain to start with. Hey Ho. Happy Days!
OOOOOOOOhhh - well this was an exciting turn of events - I AM NO LONGER PLASTERED! OMG - and I have a Frankenstein foot - oh lordy, those wires so need to come out - it looks disgusting!!!!!!!!!! YUK YUK YUK. Hey, bring on the potion - de-wire me now, damn you. (It really does look revolting!)
Right lovelies - gotta go put a rather lovely gown on and now hop into my berth - always one for a nice visit to the theatre in a beautiful gown - I wonder what production I will be seeing today - "Bird On A Wire" "Wire in the Blood" "Wired for Sound" (that'll ouch then!), "The Wire", - oh gosh, I do talk drivel a?
So am living (BP said so), laughing (always) and loving you all.
Off for a wee sleep soon - catchya when I wake AND WALK! Be on deck til they push the berth into the theatre. Smooches. xx
