Sounds like Spring is trying to breakthru Stateside but Down Under is still hot Super stunning day here today - it was goodish on Sat, then rainined theeeeeeeee whole day on Sunday - not just a little rain - buckets of the stuff - then the skies cleared last night, gorgeous moonlit night, lots of stars and ... my car is now covered in a hoar frost - and very purty it looks too

Taggers, thanks so much for putting your pics up - yep, my car has all those little crystal kisses of frost, from Jack, all over the windows and a swirly pattern all over the bonnet and roof. Beautiful it is. How's it going in the band? Do you have any festivals coming up? x

So - having been out most of the day I got back to hear a message from school that we got the OFSTED call (school inspectors) Starts at 8am on Wednesday for 2 days... oh my - gonna be a very busy week so I'll likely not be here very much. Let's hope the Inspectors will like our little school.

Me, too. One of these years, I'm gunna come over for Christmas - you lot had better make sure it snows!

Why travel all that way Margo when you have heaps of snow in the Australian Alps. A Christmas spend at Perisher Valley or Hotham Heights near a big log fire is probably just as cosy.

Dalai Lama's nephew killed.
Jigme K. Norbu was hit after dark Monday on the side of the unlit highway by an SUV. A Highway Patrol accident report said Norbu, 45, was walking on the white line in the same direction as traffic, on the southbound side of a state highway that runs the length of the state's Atlantic coast.
The driver, 31-year-old Keith R. O'Dell of Palm Coast, was not charged. He and a passenger, his 5-year-old son, were not injured.
Police released few other details. Norbu, who lived in Bloomington, Ind., and was active in a Tibetan rights group there, had started with others Monday on a Valentine's Day "Walk for Tibet" meant to cover some 300 miles from St. Augustine south to West Palm Beach, according to his group, Ambassadors For World Peace.
Norbu was dead when emergency services arrived at the scene, about 25 miles south of St. Augustine on State Highway A1A, the report said.
