Goooooooooooooooood Morning from a very chilly UK - minus 5 with a wintry frost thismorning - and having climbed onto the roof at school, as you do , I caught the sunrise as it quietly emerged beyond the moors to start a super stunning day. Blue sky from here to eternity. Blessed.

Did you read it in the press today that a mystery man who attends the Baltimore cemetery on the anniversary of the poet E.A.Poe's death - failed to show!

On the eve of the super bowl between the Ravens and the Giants he left a note saying, "Darkness and decay and the big blue holds dominion over all - Edgar Allan Poe evermore"

Now I know I quote a great deal of Poe.....So what you may say he has been dead for 62 years!

Well, do I gotta spell it out for ya!

Don't you see, the reference to 'evermore' the poem The Raven refers to 'Nevermore'. So what has this got to do with how high Wandel can bounce?

When I was asked what State I was in, I said 'A terrible state, with so much clutter in the entrance hall that I can hardly see the 'busts'. They thinking I was referring to lubbly jubblys or cute little puppies with sweet noses, recoiled in shock; when in fact I was referring to the 'bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -' As written by the said EA Poe.

So, if any of all y'all see Missy this weekend please convey my felicitations and enquire if she is able to undertake some light dusting to address the accruement of detritus.

Needless to say a French Maids outfit would be considered de rigueur for said position!

Hello Crew

Gosh, so much has happened I wouldn't know where to start. So, I'll leave that as the past and move onwards and upwards!

Hoping that all are well - I will try and catch up with y'all as soon as but right now I must try and get some shut eye - work has been a little different this week - and I have to work tomorrow! Little fella has been off school poorly since Tuesday - his fever has started to break so that will all be coco and he'll go back to school next week

I've missed you all, I'm sorry to have been on shoreleave for such a time but I can see y'all have been yabbering away. Thank you to those who have sent me emails - I haven't been able to reply - but I will do over the weekend, so thank you.

Sooooooooooooooooooo.... I have been out walking... well, yomping actually - thru the woods, down the valleys and found a little gem. I've been lost in my head and found a wonderful sanctuary that I was given permission to go shoot with my camera (ha, that's a whole other story), where no-one else in the world is and I can just spend some time at without any other noise - it's just soooo beautiful - I mean peace like you've never not 'heard' peace.... complete silence... yet, a waterfall to listen to. Have lost myself for many, many hours. Ha, it's been freezing cold but so worth it.

Anyhoo...

I love y'all and hope to get back to posting codswallop and blah shortly - I'm hoping everyone is alright and able to put each foot forward without any stumbling...

meantime - as it is right now, when I'm down and troubled <breaks into Simon and Garfunkel lalallala>, best thing I can do is lie down and when I think I can't get any lower - simply look up to blue sky and the mighty strength... and then feel carried until my legs feel a tad stronger and as tho they aren't going to give way when I stand up. Ya gotta love a big tree trunk Zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out

Beautiful day, bit chilly, 'tis minus 4 out but not quite as brrrrrrrr as Mongolia at minus 47 Going off with my lens to lay on some leaves - got lotsa warm clothes on - now just got to de-ice the car. Catchy'all later. x

I spoke too soon about not having our usual snow this year...we now have over two feet of the nasty stuff!! Seems it's been snowing daily, and school was cancelled for 2 1/2 days.
