@Dutchy,
Good Morning

well, kinda, it hasn't stopped raining for about 18 hours and there's a lot of flooding around! Shocked

Margo - still ommming for Len - do let us know how he's going.

BEAgle - yep, our lads did well Down Under... I don't know how easily they'll give them up again! Wink

Baz - hope work settles down and all is well with you and Fredster.

Mis - hope work is good for you too and you're still enjoying it. Little fellaz will be back in school now a? Our kids were all happy to be back at school and with their friends. Unfortunately, "the flu" is going around and we have staff and kids off sick already. I'll be having my flu jab on Wed so fingers crossed I'll stay clear of it.

Hope all is good with POMcT, MaMaVerby, JPB, Bethie, Boida, Osso, jw, AlexChap, Stormy, et al the crew - thinking of y'all. Thoughts for our Babbling x FQsis and Tulip - must catchup. xx (((Blue))) xox x

In a flare at the moment so going to the hospital to see the rheumatologist in half an hour and see what's what. Nem'mind.

Wishing the crew a great day - will see y'all when I see you. x

I have cleared a space in my cabin for the DVD of The Glums 25th Anniversary Concert from the O2 Arena, but the packet boat hasn't brought it yet. Any day now though.
I did get two secondhand books from them though, old Len Deighton titles that I want for the nipper to read.
Best of luck to Cap'n Izz in the rheumatology clinic. I hope you get a nice doctor with warm hands.

I think I just figured out the Baz boy's count down.

Izzie may be down for the count, but she's still a knockout. Cool

We're holding good thoughts for all of you who are hurting right now.

Dear Izzie wrote, "In a flare at the moment..."

I am so, so sorry to find you in that predicament, I can empathize for I once turned up to play in the Bob Hope Classic in a Hawaiian shirt, so I know what a fashion faux pas is all about.

I blame Wandel, he is the only one old enough to have been around in the 70's who could remember flares. Did he coerce you or did you wear them for a bet?

However all may not be lost as I hear bell bottoms are making a comeback in the boondocks. (((((Izzie)))))

Missy wrote, " What is a French hug?"

Are you kidding me? Slip hubby a few bucks to take himself and the kids off to a movie and when the coast is clear I'll mosey on over...Wait!

What the hell does, " when the coast is clear" mean? Do you live on the coast, can you even see the sea from your bedroom? I thought not!
You can't entrap me that easy...

I'll be outside the Capri Theatre Old Cloverdale wearing a white suit, red rose and spats. ((((Missy))))

Sorry you lost the cricket ashes Dutchy. Never mind you could always burn a replacement. (((Dutchy)))

May you all conquassate to the music.

You are correct. I have been nothing but a bad influence on Izzie. Luckily, she has a strong mind and decides things for herself. Smile

@wandeljw,
wandel is a great guy with a wonderful family. Still watch Without a Trace. There was a marathon of it on New Year's Eve. Sure beats the New Year baby.

Trying to cheer up our Izzie, too.

@mismi,
Morning Crew

POMcT – I was gifted a copy of The Glums which arrived today too – (thanku Baz) - I haven’t managed to watch it yet – but will do so over the weekend prolly – if you look at the stage (obvious place to look, doh!), we were sitting to the right hand side and parallel to the stage. Excellent seats I might add. Look for Penny – she was sitting on Margo’s lap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Margo – hoping Len is recovering and that you’re OK. OMMMMMMMMing for Len (((Margo)))) x

MaMaVerby – thank you – I love everything received. Thank you so much Very Happy

JPB (thanking you, being big and brave here now), ci, Letty, Osso, BEAgle – thanku...

Hmmmm... well, it appears I need to really sort myself out – my consultant (yes, POMcT – his hands were warm but I was still growly and tearful - double blech) says I have Fibromyalgia – coupled with the SLE and RA, a head full of fraying threads, sleep deprivation and chronic pain...all adds up to the F word. If I were a horse.... (HORSE).... Wink I had to look it up. Don't want it. It's gotta go.

I am going to have some intensive physio and then he wants me to have hydrotherapy – but I’m not keen on that idea – the whole bathing suit thing – yuk!!!! Seriously. YUK. The hydrotherapy would help with my Raynauds (gonna have to think about that) – my hands get a tad red and blue – well, actually, my hands are just bl**dy disgusting, tho S-boy says he likes them because they are different shapes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really yuk.

More tests and bloods and so on and so forth yada yada yada... boring boring boring. Good painkillers. These are better and most needed right now. It's all very tiring.

Pain is the biggest problem right now... (breaks into song... “Every breath you take, every move you make, Every step you take la a l al ala lallla” ow, ooh, ow, ouch, oof – get the picture. Back left under the ribs, shoulders, jaw, hips and knees are the main culprits for the last few days.... surprisingly my feet aren’t too bad Shocked See, there’s always a silver lining.

Talking of which – Blue – what a lovely silver lining you are and, as such, the ship’s 'flare' – one could send you sparkling up in the air and you'd light up the whole sky! Love it bigtime! Your pants.... no, not you’re pants – your pants would be “Loon Pants” or “Hip Huggers”! What’s it to be sailor! Very Happy

OK, so who admits to looking up conquassate – ha, I am agitating!!!!!!!! Conquassate in the Boondocks... has a certain ring to it. So good to see you Blue; thank you man, you do light us up, you’re so ‘black and white’ now you’re positively back in the habit! Second to none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (ho ho ho) Mr. Green

Jw – heck – you’re still Keanu! You betcha! Razz

(((MissyMis))) – saw you smiling there <sigh> love you girlie.

-------

Thank you all – not really that upbeat – tbh hurts too much right now – but more balanced as I gained some strength back today.

k.... bed for me... good evenings/mornings to all.... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(the RIVER is soooooooooooo high.... torrential rain, bigtime flooding in Devon and Cornwall) Shocked

sleep...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Cripes, I know from ra and sle, but not fibromyalgia. Not that I know those myself, let's say I'm acquainted.

But... fibromyalgia may have been some part of your recent pains, and maybe there is some help on that.

@Joe Nation,
love ya JJ Smile thanku

Iz (will do it with shorts and tshirt on) zie
x

edit:

yep Osso... there's been a few things that could have kicked this off... or maybe it was there before when it seemed like a flare - this isn't joints so much as connective tissue, muscles, soft tissue etc and very.... movable... it moves around - incredibly painful.

Stressed... I need to eat it backwards... Desserts only - no stress. I wish.

@mismi,
Oh mismi you're on a date with Tryagain, the sly old fox finally has his wish. Smile

Dr. and Nurses gave the Beagle a hard time yesterday, after two shots in the eyes and two in the arms I'm keeping a very low profile today.

Umming for you Izzie, I know it isn't easy but keep your spirits up.

Iz, Feeling for ya, kid. Wish there was something I could do. Don't worry about the water therapy/bathing suit business. Just do what you gotta, which I know you will.

Thinking about you. Hoping for improvement.
