@ehBeth,
Gooooooood Evening

Well, it’s not actually – it is absolutely piddling down outside – whoooooooooa – enough rain already! Murphy cat has just come running in the catflap doing a mighty good impression of a drowned rat – he is drenched! Gonna have to break into river deep, mountain high in a mo....

Oooooooookay... I won’t llalalla right now Razz

So, been a funny few days (sleep is just weeeeeeird right now... weird weird) – work was manic but done now and handed over bits and pieces... boss isn’t overly happy, she wanted the Ofsted inspectors in before I went off – nem’mind, can’t do ought about that now. Told her that if the call comes thru – except for next week obviously, someone can always come and pick me up and I’ll go in if required. They haven’t organised anyone to do my job whilst I’m not there – but hey ho! No worries.

I’m very disorganised too Razz – haven’t arranged any re-ablement gear yet – other than my wheels are sorted – so, called my OTbro just now and he’ll try and hopefully sort that out on Monday. Very Happy

Had visitors today Shocked, ex-neighbours popped by, Tulip and F-boy came over and S-boy is going to stay there tonight, then Pam-friend came over ... ha, haven’t seen so many people or talked for so long in ages!

Taggers – yep, remember them we will. I read “Lest We Forget” out in school at 11.02am – got a little choked thinking about things. How are you up there is Mancunian country?

BEAgle – how’s you doing? Hope you had a lovely time with M&K and little g-kid and that you’re out and about and ticketyboo! Keeping busy? Not too busy I hope <stern face> x

(((JPB))) - back on board... getting there ((hugs you)) x

((Bethie)) – did I read you had snow already???? Scotland was caught in blizzards this week and we have had huge storms here

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weather/

Nasty nasty weather – though I love a storm, it’s been causing havoc. Ahhhhh.... ‘tesers – you gotta love them!

Boida - hope you are alright goil - you're in my thoughts - wishing you strength and wellness. x

Baz – yep, Charlie’s got 2 left now... then time to recuperate a little bit and “onwards and upwards” – she’s been just incredible all the way thru – amazing.

LettyBettyLetty - thank you again... thank you! Wearing, beautiful. x

TC - hope you haven't had too busy a week and all is well in the Great Whitish North.

(((Babbling))) - thinking of you girlie... thinking of you. x

Sis, i love you – nearly done... nearly done.

Caralyn and Sophia got back to the UK having completed the NYC marathon

won't call you tonight, will give you a call tomorrow - just rest up, stay in bed, you just need to give your zapped body time to heal... and it will, it's just gonna take a little time to get back to being levelled out

2 left... 2 to go... rest rest rest

hey, we'll be vertically challenged together for a couple of weeks... only a few hundred miles apart - dayum, wish you were here - we could do Meryl and Goldie a?

rest Charlie,

@FlavourQueen,
Hey, FQ, good to hear that your sessions are almost over. (Re: tiredness, give up the fight and nap Very Happy )

Please, crew, continue to think pink. Have just learned that a relative is facing her own battles. Hard not to feel very helpless.

Re: snow, Izzie, our manager of seasonal equipment is praying for snow. She has wall to wall snowblowers and it's 14 degrees C. today. My department is getting busier by the day. I'm trying for equanimity Drunk well, that's what I'm calling it...

(((( FQ ))))

Agreeing with tai chi and others who say just give into the tiredness and rest as much as you can. Sending thoughts and prayers that the rest of the sessions go by quickly.

@Izzie,
Could you ask them to disallow any charges made after 9:00pm? That would be interesting... a credit card that's only valid from 9:00am-9:00pm. Very Happy

@JPB,
Morning crew, great to read all the messages, seems you're all very busy, especially the Captain.
Wishing FlavourQueen all the best now the sessions are nearly over, relax and rest before starting living again.
TaiChi thinking pink for you too, seems to affect lots of folks.
Bosun enjoying a great weekend with the family, hope yours is the same crew.

@Dutchy,
Ahh.... now that's happy, BEAgle.

I'm busy doing scattergorisationing - i have things i "ought" to be doing which i just can't make myself do and have little bits of everything which all need to be in place by tomorrow night... ha, we'll see.

Tulip has been her usual mega busy superwoman, and despite being poorly still, painted her dining room today Shocked Good Lawd - how does she do that!!!!!!!!? F-boy sounded a lot better today and the kids will be uber-happy that they are together - will be picking S-boy up tomorrow avo and then he'll be staying at school next week - still trying to sort out who/how/when i can get him to and from school for the next few weeks - hmmm... need a written down plan - nearly there, got most days figured amongst school music concerts and Christmas Play, his docs appts, dentist, physio and rugby blah.... ahrrrggh... spinning a little - need to stop thinking about it now.

Well I am okay actually mustn't grumble thanks for asking my fence blew down though.

My side fence was damaged by the gales of Thursday night- five or six panels blew out and it's quite a substantial structure, the boundary between us and the nearest highway (we're on a corner).
So muggins had to get out there early Friday morning and try to bring order from the chaos, and restore our privacy (and remove assorted debris from the Queen's highway). This took about half a day- the trouble is, a lot of the wood is in poor condition now, too old. But I'm an expert bodger.
While this was progressing, and I had to go to Wickes for more nails of the right length, the cabin boy got onto the fencing supplier and they will be here on Monday morning with a view to replacing the lot.

@McTag,
Hmmmm... that's not so good a? POMcT! Hope the fencing chaps turn up on Monday - I figure they'll be pretty busy with the amount of damage being done in these storms. So far I've been fortunate that no trees have come down - Baz told me a few days ago he had a tree come down near his place. Admittedly tho, I could do with some more wood - logs are well and truly depleted now but I can't see me hauling bahookie back and forward to the fire over the next few weeks anyhoo. If it continues like this, I may just hibernate for a month Razz

Tell you something for nothing... it is torrential outside right now, has been most of the night, I daren't even go look at the river right now Shocked (well, of course I will, but when it stops raining quite so hard - the garden is a swamp - nasty!)

Wishing y'all a good Sunday

((Blue)) xox

Thinking of those near and far

hmmmm... hoping all are OK, gotta feeling something's not lining up in the universe quite right Confused Strange... Too much water on the head, that's prolly it Mr. Green

smooches crew x

The lights are a little blinding. Sees McTag standing with arms folded and a "what the hell were you thinking" look on his face.

*claps hands over mouth in horror*

Er, well, I was just trying to, you know, get some lift till, you know, Port of Spain. Please, please don't report me! I'll do whatever you demand of me - like anything! I'll mop the floor, clean out the loos, do your laundry - even polish your boots! Puh-leeze!
